Bangladesh Naval Academy
The Bangladesh Naval Academy is a military academy for the officer cadets of Bangladesh Navy. It is situated at the mouth of the Karnaphuli river at Patenga, Chittagong District, Bangladesh. History Bangladesh Naval Academy is a reputed military academy for naval training in South Asia. It was established in 1976 at the premises of the Mercantile Marine Academy at Juludia, Chittagong, later shifted to BNS Issa Khan in Chittagong to train the cadets of the Bangladesh Navy. The academy shifted to its present location in 1988. Yuri V Redkin, a Soviet Union navy sailor who died clearing mines left from the Bangladesh Liberation War in Chittagong port, is buried here. The military academy was opened by the initiative of the then Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The academy was officially commissioned on 2 June 1988 and started functioning independently in the picturesque site of Patenga just at the river mouth of Karnaphuli. Shumen (, also Romanization of Bulgarian, romanized as ''Shoumen'' or ''Šumen'', ) is the List of cities and towns in Bulgaria, tenth-largest city in Bulgaria and the administrative and economic capital of Shumen Province. Veliko Tarnovo (, ; "Great Tarnovo") is a city in north central Bulgaria and the administrative centre of Veliko Tarnovo Province. It is the historical and spiritual capital of Bulgaria. Often referred to as the "''City of the Tsars''", Veliko Tarnovo is located on the Yantra (river), Yantra River and is famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, attracting many tourists with its unique architecture. Vasil Levski National Military University
The Vasil Levski National Military University () is Bulgaria's national military academy. History Founded in 1878 as a military school in Plovdiv, it was moved to Sofia the same year. On 19 April 1924, it was promoted to university status; in 1945 it was named in honour of Bulgarian national hero Vasil Levski (1837–1873). Since 1958, it has been headquartered in Veliko Tarnovo. The Naval School (, EN) is a higher education military academy which aims to train officers for the Brazilian Navy. It is located in Rio de Janeiro, on Villegagnon Island just inside of Guanabara Bay. History The Brazilian Naval School has its direct origins in the Portuguese Royal Naval Academy created in Lisbon, Portugal in the 18th century. In 1782, the Company of Midshipmen (''Companhia dos Guardas-Marinhas'') was created to frame and train the midshipmen (naval officer candidates) of the Portuguese Navy. Pirassununga is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil, with an altitude of 627 meters. The population is 76,877 (2020 est.) in an area of 727 km2. Situated in the southeast region of Brazil, the city is home to many important institutions, one being the Brazilian Air Force Academy. Brazilian Air Force Academy
The Brazilian Air Force Academy (AFA, ''Academia da Força Aérea'' in Portuguese) is the Brazilian Air Force's educational institution that provides initial officer training for the main Officer Board of Brazil's Air Force Command. The academy is located east of Pirassununga city, in São Paulo State county, and it is the largest Brazilian Air Base as well as the largest Air Force Academy of Latin America.
