Auto racing (also known as car racing, motor racing, or automobile racing) is a motorsport involving the racing of automobiles for competition. Bruna Alberti Tomaselli (born 18 September 1997 in Caibi) is a Brazilian female racing driver. She formerly competed in the W Series and has also raced in Stock Car Brasil. Biography Tomaselli began her professional career in Fórmula Junior Brasil, a category comparable to Formula Ford in other countries. Following two seasons there, she would move up to Fórmula 4 Sudamericana, run to Formula Renault 1.6 regulations – where she finished fourth in her second season. She moved to the United States in 2017, joining the Road to Indy through the U.S. F2000 National Championship. Sophie-Marie Kumpen (born 30 October 1975) is a Belgian former racing driver and kart racer. She is the former wife of Dutch Formula One driver Jos Verstappen, and mother to four-time World Drivers' Champion Max Verstappen. Born and raised in Hasselt, Kumpen is the daughter of Robert Kumpen, former chairman of KRC Genk, and the cousin of racing driver Anthony. Kumpen began her career in kart racing, competing at four Karting World Championships and winning the Andrea Margutti Trophy in 1995, becoming the third woman in history to win a major international karting title after Susanna Raganelli and Cathy Muller. Vanina Ickx (born 16 February 1975) is a Belgian racing driver. Career Ickx was born in Brussels on 16 February 1975. She is the daughter of racing driver Jacky Ickx and his first wife Catherine. Ickx started racing at a relatively late age, entering the BMW Compact Cup in 1996, partnering the Cup's most successful entrant, Stéphane De Groodt. For 1997 she got a Cup racer of her own, before she moved up to the Belgian Procar series in 1998, which ran to Super Production regulations. She shared a BMW 320i with Sylvie Delcour. In 1998 Ickx transferred to the Renault team, partnered by Frenchman Franck Lagorce. Yvette Fontaine (born 3 June 1946) is a Belgian former racing driver. Career Born on 3 June 1946 in Hasselt, Belgium, Fontaine grew up with her parents near the Circuit Zolder, Zolder race track and thus came into contact with motorsport at an early age. As a teenager, Fontaine attended events as a spectator whenever she could at the almost four-kilometer-long circuit. After experimenting with karting, she took part in her first car rally in 1964 at the age of 18. In 1966, she began touring car racing and drove an Alfa Romeo Giulia, Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Super 1600 in the Belgian championship.
