A fashion week is a week-long fashion industry event where fashion designers, brands, or "houses" display their latest collections in runway fashion shows to buyers and the media which influences upcoming fashion trends for the current and approaching seasons. The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the fashion capitals of the world—in chronological order, New York Fashion Week, New York City, London Fashion Week, London, Milan Fashion Week, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week, Paris, or the "Big Four". Lagos Fashion Week
Lagos Fashion Week (LagosFW) is an annual multi-day clothing trade show that takes place in Lagos, Nigeria. It was founded in 2011 by Omoyemi Akerele and it is Africa's largest fashion event drawing considerable media attention, nationally and internationally. It showcases over 60 Nigerian and African fashion designers to a global audience of more than 40,000 retailers, media and consumers. Kingston Bridal Week
Kingston Bridal Week is Jamaica’s first and only annual Bridal Week. The event was founded in 2012 by Kibwe McGann, Sean Lyn and Kara-Ann Anderson, and was produced by Intuit Concepts. Ottawa Fashion Week is a nonprofit event which takes place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada biannually, in February and September.
