The Telangana Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the bicameral state legislature of Telangana state in India. It is housed in the Assembly Building, in Hyderabad, the capital of the state. The term of the assembly is five years, unless it is dissolved early. Telangana was formed on 2 June 2014, after the passage of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
