Canal+ (, meaning "Channel Plus"), also spelt Canal Plus and sometimes abbreviated C+ or Canal, is a French premium television channel owned by Canal+. Cartoon Network (formerly Teletoon) is a Canadian English-language discretionary specialty channel owned by Corus Entertainment. (or WIC) was a Canadian media company that operated from 1982 to 2000, with operations including broadcast and specialty television, radio, and satellite distribution via a majority interest in Canadian Satellite Communications (or Cancom). The company itself was acquired by CanWest Global Communications, which kept most of WIC's broadcast television stations and a variety of related television production assets. ''Cita's World'' is a video music show that originally aired on BET from September 20, 1999 until January 3, 2003. Overview It was the first show to feature a virtual reality Black character as the host named Cita. Cita's World was the brainchild of Curtis A. Gadson, B.E.T. Teletoon at Night was a late night programming block that aired on Teletoon. It primarily carried adult animation and other programming targeting teen and adult audiences. Teletoon had carried programming targeting teen and adult audiences during the prime time and late night hours since its inception. The channel eventually established formal brands for such programming—The Detour on Teletoon and Teletoon Unleashed—in 2001 and 2002; by 2004, the "Unleashed" block was dropped.
