Rawalakot
Rawalakot () is the capital of Poonch District, Pakistan, Poonch district in Pakistan–administered Azad Kashmir, in the disputed Kashmir region. It is located in the Pir Panjal Range. Chakswari
Chakswari ( Pothwari / ), also known as Chaksawari, is an area in the Mirpur District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It comprises 15 Union councils including the Islamgarh Municipal Committee. The Mangla Dam project affected inhabitants of Chakswari and Islamgarh. Chakswari is 26 miles or 41.84 km from Mirpur. Chakswari comprises many villages that border the Mangla Dam and surround the Chakswari bazaar. Pre-Mangla Dam the Old Mirpur City (now submerged under the Mangla Dam) was near Chakswari. Geography Chakswari comprises partly plain and partly hilly areas and the climate is generally arid with little rainfall and is characterised by hot summers and cool winters. Pallandri, also spelled Palandri (), originally Pulandari, is a Tehsil which serves as the administrative capital of Sudhanoti district of Azad Kashmir. Hajira, Azad Kashmir
Hajira () is a small town in Poonch District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is the headquarters of Hajira Tehsil, also known as 'Cheara' in local accents. Hajira is a transport hub, as the center point of different districts. Hajira Ponch is correctly interpreted as ‘Hajira Reach’. Geography South of Hajira is Sudhnoti district. Bagh, Azad Kashmir
Bagh City () is the chief town and district headquarters of Bagh District, in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The town is situated on the confluence of two nullahs (streams), Malwani and Mahl (ماہلوانی اور ماہل) at a distance of 93 km from Muzaffarabad. 2005 earthquake On 8 October 2005, Bagh was hit by a devastating earthquake that killed 8,500 people, which represented 10% of the population. Most of the victims were children attending school who died when the school buildings collapsed. The worst hit institutes were a school named Spring Field Children academy (where 300 plus children died in junior campus), the boys' degree college and girls' degree college Bagh. Many lives could have been saved if the rescue equipment was available. The entire city was destroyed and was rebuilt with the help of government. Dhirkot is a Tehsil located in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. There is a road known as Kohala Dhirkot Road which passes through the Chamankot area of the tehsil.
