Celis White is a beer brand. Pierre Celis (21 March 1925 – 9 April 2011) revived the Belgian style witbier in 1965 in Hoegaarden then moved to Austin, Texas in 1991 to start the Celis Brewery, where the iconic witbier was being brewed amongst all his other beers like Grand cru Tripel, Pale Bock and raspberry. History In 1966, Pierre Celis in Hoegaarden revived witbier, a regional beer style that had become extinct almost a decade earlier when the town's last brewery closed. Celis's first brewery was in his father's stable. In 1972, he relocated to an abandoned soft drink factory, and by 1985, he was brewing 300,000 barrels a year. His Hoegaarden Brewery burned to the ground that year, and Celis, who was under-insured, wound up selling his Hoegaarden brand to Belgian giant Interbrew. Seven Points, Texas
Seven Points is a city in Henderson and Kaufman counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 1,455 at the 2010 census, up from 1,145 at the 2000 census. The city is named for an intersection where seven roads converge. These are not Old West wagon trails, however; the town did not exist until nearby Cedar Creek Reservoir was built in the 1960s, and was not incorporated until the 1970s. The seven roads consist of two state highways (three directions), a farm-to-market road, and three county roads. Geography Seven Points is located in northwestern Henderson County at (32.333044, –96.212939). A small part of the city extends north along Seven Points Road (Texas State Highway 274) into Kaufman County. Highway 274 leads north to Kemp and southeast to Trinidad. Adkins, Texas
Adkins is an unincorporated community in eastern Bexar County, Texas, United States. It is located within the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area. History Adkins started out as a flag station on the Galveston, Harrisburg and San Antonio Railway in the 1880s and was named for William Adkins Jones, who was given a land grant for the depot and switchyard that would develop there. A post office was established at Adkins in 1896. There were two churches and 100 people in the community in 1910, which went up to 150 in 1940 with four businesses. Its growth continued with San Antonio developing into a major city, with 241 residents and 32 businesses in 1990.
