Rebranding (automobile)
In the automotive industry, rebadging (also known as badge engineering, an intentionally ironic misnomer in that little or no actual engineering takes place) is a form of market segmentation used by List of automobile manufacturers, automobile manufacturers around the world. BMW I7
G70 is the internal designation for the seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series, a range of luxury cars produced by the German luxury vehicle manufacturer BMW since July 2022. Introduced in April 2022, 7 Series and i7 are the respective designations for BMW's internal combustion and battery electric full-size luxury flagship models. BMW had unveiled the model on 20 April 2022 during the nameplate's 45th anniversary. Sold as a 2023 model, it is longer than its predecessor model.
