Delhi University (DU), formally the University of Delhi, is a collegiate central university located in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly and is recognized as an Institute of Eminence (IoE) by the University Grants Commission (UGC). As a collegiate university, its main functions are divided between the academic departments of the university and constituent colleges. Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan
The Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan (Association for the Empowerment of Labourers and Farmers) is an Indian political organisation best known for its demand for the Right to Information Act (RTI) which grew out of the demand for minimum wages for workers. History On April 6, 1996, the MKSS announced a strike in the city of Beawar in Ajmer, Rajasthan. After a series of public hearings exposed systemic corruption across Rajasthan, and the reneging of the promise of the Right to Information given by the then Chief Minister of Rajasthan, the Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan began a historic forty-day-long ''dharna'' (sit in protest) to demand the Right to Information. Abhishek Chaubey (born 30 March 1977) is an Indian director, screenwriter and film producer known for his works in Hindi cinema. Hansraj College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, in Delhi, India. The departments of Hansraj college includes science, liberal arts and commerce. History The was founded on 26 July 1948 in memory of the prominent Indian educator and nationalist Mahatma Hansraj. Aarti Bajaj is an Indian film editor. She is an editor working in Bollywood currently. She has edited films such as ''Jab We Met'' and '' Aamir''.
