This is a list of standardized tests that students may need to take for admissions to various colleges or universities. Tests of language proficiency are excluded here. Only tests not included within a certain secondary schooling curriculum are listed. Therefore, those tests initially focused on secondary–school–leaving, e.g., General Certificate of Education, GCE A-Level, A–Levels in the UK, or French Baccalaureate, are not listed here, although they function as the de facto admission tests in those countries (see list of secondary school leaving certificates). A standardized test is a Test (assessment), test that is administered and scored in a consistent or standard manner. Standardized tests are designed in such a way that the questions and interpretations are consistent and are administered and scored in a predetermined, standard manner. A standardized test is administered and scored uniformly for all test takers. Any test in which the same test is given in the same manner to all test takers, and graded in the same manner for everyone, is a standardized test. Tasmanian Certificate Of Education
The Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) is the main credential awarded to secondary school students who successfully complete senior high school level studies (years 11 and 12 or equivalent) in Tasmania, Australia. It was introduced in 1992 to replace Tasmania's old "''High School Certificate''", and partially restructured for 2007. Patterns of Study The majority of students undertake TASC-accredited courses over the final two years of school, however it is possible to undertake different study patterns over different time periods or through different teaching organisations. GST Admission Test
GST Admission Test (GST–General, Science & Technology; also known as Guccha/Ghuccho admission test) is an annual-integrated admission system in Bangladesh. The eligibility for admission in 19 general and science and technology universities is verified through this test. The first GST examination was held in 2021 for university admission phase in the 2020–2021 academic year. In 2024 admission phase, more than 300 thousand students applied to take the test. However, only 19 universities are conducting GST Admission Test in 2025 for the session 2024-25. The Graduate Medical School Admissions Test (commonly known as the GAMSAT, formerly Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test) is a test used to select candidates applying to study medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy and veterinary science at Australian, British, and Irish universities for admission to their Graduate Entry Programmes (candidates must have a recognised bachelor's degree, or equivalent, completed prior to commencement of the degree).
