This is a list of bus routes in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Winnipeg Transit provides public bus service to the city of Winnipeg, operating 88 bus routes . Many routes on this list have more than one ultimate destination, even on trips travelling in the same direction. For instance, the Route 16 Osborne (southbound) has five ultimate destinations; all trips travel down Osborne Street as far as Kingston Row, but beyond that point they diverge depending on signage. All routes are wheelchair accessible. The Health Sciences Centre (HSC), located in Winnipeg, is the largest health-care facility in Manitoba and one of the largest hospitals in Canada. It serves the residents of Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, and Nunavut as both a teaching hospital and as a research centre. HSC is a tertiary care hospital, encompassing many different specialty medical and surgical services. The Health Sciences Centre employs around 8,000 people. A few other health-related institutions are located adjacent to the hospital. The HSC has a campus and houses various operations. Grace Hospital is a regional hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The 250-bed hospital is located in the Crestview neighbourhood of St. James-Assiniboia. The hospital was founded on Ross Avenue in 1890 by the Salvation Army, as a rescue home for women and children. It was incorporated in 1904 as ''The Salvation Army Grace General Hospital'', and was the first Salvation Army hospital to be incorporated in Canada. The hospital was not truly a general hospital until 1927, when it was expanded from a maternity hospital. The hospital was located on Ross Avenue until 1906 when a new building was erected at Preston Avenue and Arlington Street. The Arlington street location would be expanded and upgraded many times. Academy Road is a street in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It runs from the Maryland Bridge to Wellington Crescent, just west of Route 90 (Kenaston Boulevard), and actually intersects with Wellington at both its east and west ends. Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech) is a college located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is the province's largest institute of applied learning and applied research, with over 200 degree, diploma, and certificate programs, and more than 21,000 students annually. Route 47, locally known as Logan Avenue, is a city route in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It runs from Route 90 (King Edward Street) to Route 42 (the Disraeli Freeway). Windsor Park is a neighborhood in the southeastern part of St. Boniface, a neighbourhood of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Tuxedo is a residential suburb of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Prior to 1972, the community was incorporated as the Town of Tuxedo. Today, it is the wealthiest area of Winnipeg, with the highest property values.
