Nicktoons (formerly Nicktoons Network) is an American pay television channel owned by Paramount Media Networks. The channel is geared towards children aged 7 to 11, and broadcasts reruns of original animated series from sister network Nickelodeon (known as Nicktoons) along with some other animated shows and feature films. As of September 2018, approximately 56.9 million American households (51.3% of households with television) received Nicktoons. ''Rob Dyrdek's Wild Grinders'', also known simply as ''Wild Grinders'', is an animated television series created by, produced by, and loosely based on the life of professional skateboarder and reality TV star Rob Dyrdek. It started out as a series of shorts produced by MoonScoop Group in 2009 and aired on Kabillion, which were adapted into a successful toy-line from Mattel that released in 2010. Following the shorts and merchandise line, a full series of 22-minute episodes was distributed by MoonScoop Entertainment and aired on the Nicktoons channel in 2012. The show made its second broadcast on U.S. television on April 27, 2012. During this time, content featuring the ''Wild Grinders'' characters continued to be seen on Kabillion, a video on demand channel and streaming video website partially owned by Moonscoop. Christian Duguay (born January 3, 1970) is an American actor and comedian. Duguay is most notable as one of the recurring cast of sketch comedy series ''MADtv''. Creator of the Valley Heat podcast. Biography Early years Christian Duguay was born on January 3, 1970, in Stanford, California. He grew up in Carefree, Arizona and Readfield, Maine. Duguay attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he majored in Jazz Theory and Composition. In 1990, Duguay enrolled in the film school at California State University at Northridge, majoring in screenwriting. He performed with the improv comedy group Legitimate Freaks, and later studied at Groundlings Theater. He joined the Groundlings Main Company in 2000. John A. Derevlany (born October 3, 1964) is a writer, director, and performer known for co-creating the TV series '' Legends of Chima'' for LEGO.
