The UK Singles Chart is one of many music charts compiled by the Official Charts Company that calculates the best-selling singles of the week in the United Kingdom. Before 2004, the chart was only based on the sales of physical singles. This list shows singles that peaked in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart during 1994, as well as singles which peaked in List of UK top-ten singles in 1993, 1993 and List of UK top-ten singles in 1995, 1995 but were in the top 10 in 1994. The entry date is when the single appeared in the top 10 for the first time (week ending, as published by the Official Charts Company, which is six days after the chart is announced). One-hundred and thirty-two singles were in the top ten in 1994. Marti Pellow
Marti Pellow (born Mark McLachlan; 23 March 1965) is a Scottish singer. He was the lead singer of the pop group Wet Wet Wet for 28 years: from their formation in 1982 until their split in 1997, and again from their reformation in 2004 to his departure in 2017. He has also recorded albums as a solo artist, and performed as an actor in musical theatre productions in both the West End theatre, West End and on Broadway theatre, Broadway. "Think Twice" is a song by Canadian singer Celine Dion, released by Columbia and Epic Records as the third single from her third English-language album, '' The Colour of My Love'' (1993) in 1994. In this rock-influenced song with a guitar solo, the protagonist is telling her lover to "think twice" before leaving her. Sly And Robbie
Sly and Robbie were a prolific Jamaican rhythm section and production duo, associated primarily with the reggae and dub genres. Drummer Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare teamed up in the mid-1970s after establishing themselves separately in Jamaica as professional musicians. They recorded several albums under the Sly and Robbie name, and made hundreds of appearances on records by other performers. Shakespeare died in December 2021 following kidney surgery. Mr Blobby is a character originally featured on the British Saturday night variety show '' Noel's House Party'', broadcast on BBC One. Created by Charlie Adams, a writer for the show, Mr Blobby is a bulbous pink figure covered in yellow spots, with a permanent toothy grin and green jiggling eyes. Oasis are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Manchester in 1991.
