List Of Tiangong Space Station Spacewalks
The Tiangong space station is a Chinese space station in low Earth orbit, and is operated by the China Manned Space Agency. Extravehicular activities are crucial for both the construction and maintenance of the station. Zhai Zhigang completed the first Chinese spacewalk in 2008, during the Shenzhou 7 mission. Since then, every other Chinese spacewalk has been carried out at the Tiangong space station. Tiangong Space Station
Tiangong (), officially the ''Tiangong'' space station (), is a permanently crewed space station constructed by China and operated by China Manned Space Agency. Tiangong is a modular design, with modules docked together while in low Earth orbit, between above the surface. It is China's first long-term space station, part of the Tiangong program and the core of the "Third Step" of the China Manned Space Program; it has a pressurised volume of 340 m3 (12,000 cu ft), slightly over one third the size of the International Space Station. The space station aims to provide opportunities for space-based experiments and a platform for building capacity for scientific and technological innovation. Wang Yaping
Wang Yaping (; born January 1980) is a Chinese military transport pilot and taikonaut. Wang was the second female taikonaut selected to the People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps, the second Chinese woman in space, and the first Chinese woman to perform a spacewalk. In April 2022, she set a new record for longest stay in space by a female Chinese astronaut with a cumulative 197 days in space. Early life Wang was born in the prefecture of Yantai, in Shandong province. Her mother and father are farmers, and she was reported to have two sisters. In September 1991, she entered junior high school in Yantai, and in 1994 entered Yantai Yizhong High School, graduating in 1997. Tang Shengjie
Tang Shengjie (; born December 1989) is a Chinese pilot selected as part of the Shenzhou program. He enlisted in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in September 2008. Biography Tang was born in a rural village in Dingxi, Gansu, northwest China to a family of farmers in December 1989. Since childhood, Tang had been indulging in activities needed to become a taikonaut. He graduated from Air Force Aviation University in 2012. He is a fourth-level astronaut in the Astronaut Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and is a first class PLA Air Force pilot since 13 years. Shenzhou 17
Shenzhou 17 () was a Chinese spaceflight to the Tiangong space station, launched on 26 October 2023. It carried three People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps (PLAAC) taikonauts on board a Shenzhou spacecraft. The mission was the twelfth crewed Chinese spaceflight and the seventeenth flight overall of the Shenzhou program. Zhu Yangzhu
Zhu Yangzhu (; born September 1986) is a Chinese engineer and astronaut selected as part of the Shenzhou program. He enlisted in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in September 2005, and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in December 2006. Early life and education Yangzhu was born in Pei County, Xuzhou, Jiangsu, in September 1986. As a teenager he wanted to be a pilot and applied to the Air Force when he was in high school; but he did not pass the entrance exam there. On the advice of teachers and parents he registered the National Defense Science and Technology University in Changsha as his choice of college when he graduated from high school. Jing Haipeng
Jing Haipeng (; born 24 October 1966) is a major general of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force (PLAGF) in active service as a vice-commander of the 82nd Group Army. A fighter pilot in the PLA Air Force (PLAAF), he was selected to be a PLA Astronaut Corps (PLAAC) astronaut in 1998. Zhang Lu (; born November 1976) is a Chinese pilot selected as part of the Shenzhou program. Cai Xuzhe ( zh , s = 蔡旭哲 ; born May 1976) is a Chinese People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps (PLAAC) taikonaut selected as part of the Shenzhou program. Biography Cai was born in Shenzhou, Hengshui, Hebei province in 1976. His grandparents come from a scholarly family, teaching in the downtown county and village, respectively, and were veteran party members before the founding of the People's Republic of China. Liu Yang (; born October 6, 1978) is a Chinese military transport pilot and taikonaut. On June 16, 2012, Yang became the first Chinese woman in space, as a crew member of Shenzhou 9. Biography Liu Yang was born in Zhengzhou, Henan province in 1978, into a worker's family of Linzhou, Anyang origin.
