The third season of ''Tawag ng Tanghalan'' is an amateur singing competition currently aired as a segment of the noontime show It's Showtime (Philippine TV program), It's Showtime that premiered on June 25, 2018. These are the finalists that competed in the competition. Grand Finalists Elaine Duran Elaine Duran is a mass communication graduate from Butuan. She is the 4th contender to enter the semifinals and eventually became the first Hall of Famer after achieving 10 straight wins. ''Tawag ng Tanghalan'' (, abbreviated TNT) is a Philippine television reality competition show broadcast by ABS-CBN. Originally hosted by Jaime dela Rosa, Patsy and Lopito, it aired as a reality competition from 1954 to September 1972 and from March 8, 1987 to November 26, 1989, and was replaced by '' Sa Linggo nAPO Sila''. The show returned as a segment of '' It's Showtime'' on January 2, 2016. Vhong Navarro, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Amy Perez, Karylle, Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu and Darren Espanto currently serve as the hosts. Weak (SWV Song)
"Weak" is a song by American R&B vocal trio SWV from their debut studio album, '' It's About Time'' (1992). It was written and produced by Brian Alexander Morgan, who composed the lyrics based on a young person falling in love for the first time. Inspired by his crush on singer Chanté Moore, Morgan originally wrote the song for Charlie Wilson, but he later decided to give the song to SWV. Morgan later revealed that lead singer of SWV, Coko, did not like the song and gave him attitude during the recording of the single. Coko, in turn, said that she did not like the song because she found it difficult to sing initially because the song forced her to do things she was not used to. A partially re-recorded version of "Weak" was released in April 1993 by RCA Records as the third single from the album. ''Kyla (The Queen of R&B)'' is the tenth studio album of Filipino R&B singer Kyla, released on April 15, 2018, by Star Music. It is Kyla's first album with Star Music after 16 years with PolyEast Records / EMI Philippines. Background and development Upon signing with Star Music in December 2016, it was announced that she will release an album in the third quarter of 2017, but was delayed a few times. Executive producer Jonathan Manalo shared that the concept was a throwback to 90's R&B. The label first intended to release an extended play.
