The Protagonist Alex Hunter is the protagonist for much of the series, and is the primary audience identification figure. He arrives in Strangehaven after a car accident in which swerved to avoid hitting a young woman on the road ahead of him. However, his claim is suspect as the woman was never located. As he is estranged from his wife, whom he discovered was committing adultery, Alex has little reason to leave Strangehaven — which is useful, as the village itself does not seem to permit him to go outside the forest and coastline around it; any attempt to go further causes him to loop back in on Strangehaven. Alex is interested in Janey Jones, although their relationship seldom runs smooth; Alex works for Janey's father at Strangehaven's primary school. Strangehaven
''Strangehaven'' is a self-published comic book series created by Gary Spencer Millidge. It is not published to a regular schedule, and the series went on hiatus in 2005. Since 2014, new ''Strangehaven'' chapters have been published in ''Meanwhile...'', an anthology comic from Soaring Penguin Press. In September 2021, Millidge announced that ''Strangehaven'' had been optioned for film and TV by IDW Entertainment. Plot Alex Hunter almost runs over a woman while driving through the British countryside, swerving and crashing his car into a tree. He wakes to find himself in the picturesque village of Strangehaven, where a young woman named Janey Jones convinces him to stay. He finds a spacious cottage to rent and a job as a teacher at the local school, but it soon becomes clear that something is awry in Strangehaven. A secretive cult calling themselves The Knights of the Golden Light have taken over all positions of authority; a pagan coven is plotting something out in the woodlands ... Wicca
Wicca () is a modern Pagan religion. Scholars of religion categorise it as both a new religious movement and as part of the occultist stream of Western esotericism. It was developed in England during the first half of the 20th century and was introduced to the public in 1954 by Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant. Wicca draws upon a diverse set of ancient pagan and 20th-century hermetic motifs for its theological structure and ritual practices. Wicca has no central authority figure. Leonard Nimoy
Leonard Simon Nimoy (; March 26, 1931 – February 27, 2015) was an American actor, famed for playing Spock in the ''Star Trek'' franchise for almost 50 years. This includes originating Spock in the original ''Star Trek'' series in 1966, then ''Star Trek: The Animated Series'', the first six ''Star Trek'' films, and '' Star Trek: The Next Generation''. Nimoy also directed films, including '' Star Trek III: The Search for Spock'' (1984) and '' Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home'' (1986), and appeared in several films, television shows, and voice acted in several video games. Outside of acting, Nimoy was a film director, photographer, author, singer, and songwriter.
