List Of Still Game Episodes
The following is an episode list for ''Still Game''. The first series began on 6 September 2002 and its ninth and final series aired on 28 March 2019. In the first three series the episode titles were all Scots language, Scots words that were related to the episode. This was changed to standard English titles for Series 4, so that the rest of UK audience could understand the titles. Series overview Episode list Series 1 (2002) Early series of the show featured short sound clips whenever an exterior shot of Osprey Heights (the building Jack, Victor, and Isa live in) occurred. These included Jack and Victor sighing contentedly and one of the two saying "Is that you?" with the other replying "Oh, aye, that's me." Arguably the most common featured Jack and Victor humming a song ("Hurdy gurdy gurdy, in the windae boxes"). Still Game
''Still Game'' is a Scotland, Scottish sitcom produced by Effingee Productions, The Comedy Unit and BBC Scotland. It was created by Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, who played the lead characters, Jack Jarvis (Still Game character), Jack Jarvis, Esq and Victor McDade, two Glasgow, Glaswegian pensioners. The characters first appeared in the pair's previous TV sketch show ''Chewin' the Fat'', which aired in Scotland from January 1999 until December 2005. Following its debut on 6 September 2002, List of Still Game episodes, 62 episodes of ''Still Game'' were aired, including Christmas and Hogmanay specials in addition to almost 50 live shows. The first three series were broadcast only on BBC One Scotland, though five episodes selected from the first two series were later broadcast throughout the UK on BBC Two in January and February 2004. Tom Urie
Tom Urie (born 1 March 1969) is a Scottish actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Big Bob (Bob O'Hara) in the BBC Scotland soap opera ''River City''. In November 2019, Urie played Gordie in the BBC Scotland drama '' Guilt''. Chewin The Fat
''Chewin' the Fat'' is a Scottish comedy sketch show, starring Ford Kiernan, Greg Hemphill and Karen Dunbar. Comedians Paul Riley and Mark Cox also appeared regularly on the show among other actors such as Tom Urie. ''Chewin' the Fat'' first started as a radio series on BBC Radio Scotland. The later television show, which ran for four series, was first broadcast on BBC One Scotland, but series three and four, as well as highlights from the first two series, were later broadcast nationally across the United Kingdom. Brian Pettifer
Brian Pettifer (born 1 January 1953) is a Scottish actor who has appeared in many television shows, and also on stage and in film. He is the younger brother of folk musician Linda Thompson. Biography He intended to become a photographer, but pursued a career as an actor. Eileen McCallum
Eileen McCallum, MBE (born 2 December 1936) is a Scottish actress who is best known for playing the part of shopkeeper Isabel Blair through the complete run of soap opera ''Take the High Road'' from 1980 to 2003, and as Liz Hamilton from 2005 to 2018 in the BBC Scotland soap ''River City''. Career McCallum appeared in Glasgow drama '' Just Another Saturday'' in 1975. She then gained her first major soap role in '' Garnock Way'' playing Jean Ross from 1976 to 1979.
