Mithi Vav
Mithi Vav is a stepwell located in Palanpur town of Banaskantha district, Gujarat, India. It is considered the only surviving monument of Parmara rule in the town. It was built around the 8th century. It is situated in the eastern part of the town. The five storey stepwell can be entered from the west. Based on its architectural style, it is believed that it is constructed in late medieval period but the sculptures embedded in the walls may belong to earlier period. Anjar is a town, township and municipality of the Kachchh district in the state of Gujarat, India. Founded in 650 AD, Anjar is a culturally diverse town of historic importance in the region. It is home to several historic religious temples, including the Jesal-Toral Shrines built in honour of a fourteenth century couple, whose lives inspired works of art and cinema. Brahma Kund
Brahma Kund is a stepped temple tank in Sihor town of Bhavnagar district, Gujarat, India. It is located near the southern wall of the old town. It believed that it was constructed by Jayasimha Siddharaja. History The exact dates of Brahma Kund is unknown. It mentioned in '' Skanda Purana''. According to legend, Chaulukya king Jayasimha Siddharaja was suffering from skin disease following the curse from Ranakadevi, the queen whom he captured from Junagadh. He was cured after bathing in this tank so he refurbished the tank. The water of the tank is still considered miraculous. It is mentioned in '' Prabandha-Chintamani'' written by Merutunga. The tank kept finding its reference and mentions citing Siddharaja since 12th century. It is also mentioned in ''Ain-e-Akbari''. Talaja is a town and a municipality in Bhavnagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Geography Talaja is located at . It has an average elevation of 19 metres (62 feet). Talaja is located on national Highway No. 8 in between Bhavnagar (50 km) and Mahuva (40 km). It is a Tehsil place which encompasses Alang – one of the largest ship breaking yards at one of the places which has the highest tidal range in the world. Firangi Deval, also known as Devalvasi, is an old temple monument located in Kalsar village near Mahuva, Bhavnagar district, Gujarat, India. History It is constructed in 7th century during the Maitraka rule. It is said locally that the temple was used to hoist flag to warn citizens to return to castle in case of raid. Bhavnagar is a city in the Bhavnagar district of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, a state of India. It was founded in 1723 by Bhavsinhji Takhtasinhji Gohil (1703–1764).
