A police tactical unit (PTU) is a specialized police unit trained and equipped to handle situations that are beyond the capabilities of ordinary law enforcement units because of the level of violence (or risk of violence) involved. The ''Brigada Especial Operativa Halcón'' (BEOH; Hawk Special Operations Brigade) is a special operations division of the Buenos Aires Provincial Police in Argentina. The 1er Batallón de Combate-Grupo Especial Uno (''1st Combat Battalion-Special Group One'', GE-1) is a tactical assault division of the Argentine Federal Police. It depends directly of the Infantry Guard Corps, and its motto is ''Nihil Obstat'' (Nothing Hinders).
