Frank Garcia (magician)
Frank Garcia (May 8, 1927 – July 15, 1993) was a magician and professional gambler. He was known as "The Man With The Million Dollar Hands." His specialty was gambling scams and cheating. Biography The son of Spanish immigrants, he decided to become a magician after seeing a performance of David "Fu Manchu" Bamberg. As "The Gambling Investigator" he demonstrated and exposed cheating methods at trade shows and to law enforcement organizations throughout the United States and on television shows. Frank Garcia wrote and lectured about the subject throughout his life. Garcia made "close-up" work his domain. His repertory of card manipulations, sponge-ball magic, cups and balls, and sleight-of-hand was highly regarded by his peers. Narciso Jesus Rodriguez III (; born January 27, 1961) is an American fashion designer. Early life and education Rodriguez was born in Newark, New Jersey, the eldest child and only son of Cuban parents. His parents, Narciso Rodríguez Sanchez II, a longshoreman, and Rawedia María Rodríguez. His paternal grandfather was born on the Canary Islands. Rodriguez graduated from St. Cecilias High School in 1979, a small Catholic school in Kearny, New Jersey. Faye Denise Resnick (née Hutchison; born July 3, 1957) is an American television personality, author, and interior designer. She is best known for her involvement in the O.J. Antonio Prieto (artist)
Antonio Prieto (1912 – March 11, 1967) was an American ceramic artist and art professor at Mills College in Oakland, California. He was instrumental in developing an important ceramics collection for the Mills College Art Museum. He was born in Yaldepenas, Spain on August 23, 1912, and died in Oakland on March 11, 1967. History Prieto immigrated to the United States as a child in 1916. After studying at Alfred University from 1943 to 1946, he chaired the Ceramics Program and taught at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland (now California College of the Arts) from 1946 to 1950. At the time, F. Carlton Ball was teaching ceramics at Mills College. When Ball left Mills, Prieto succeeded him. Victor Moscoso (born July 28, 1936) is a Spanish–American artist best known for producing psychedelic rock posters, advertisements, and underground comix in San Francisco during the 1960s and 1970s. He was the first of the rock poster artists of the 1960s era with formal academic training and experience. Joseph Jacinto Mora (October 22, 1876 – October 10, 1947) was a Uruguayan-born American cowboy, photographer, artist, cartoonist, illustrator, painter, muralist, sculptor, and historian who wrote about his experiences in California. He has been called the "Renaissance Man of the West". Early life Mora was born on October 22, 1876, in Montevideo, Uruguay.
