South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and record producer Rain has embarked on five headlining concert tours, two of which have been worldwide. He debuted with the studio album ''Bad Guy'' in May 2002, and released his sophomore studio album '' It's Raining'' in October 2004. After the release of ''It's Raining'', Rain embarked on his first concert tour in support of the album in January 2005, titled the Rainy Day Tour. His concert at the Workers' Stadium in Beijing held that October drew an audience of 40,000 people. The tour expanded internationally in February 2006 with two concerts at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, making Rain the first South Korean idol singer to have played at a major venue in the city. Rainism
''Rainism'' is the fifth Korean-language studio album by South Korean recording artist Rain, released on October 15, 2008. The album was released through J. Tune Entertainment, a subsidiary of JYP Entertainment, and marked the singer's first record released under the J. Tune label. The album produced the singles "Love Story" and the title track "Rainism", the latter of which became one of Rain's signature songs. The album was released in four formats throughout Asia, with Rain also recording its two singles in Chinese and English. ''Rainism'' sold over 131,000 copies in 2008 according to the South Korean Hanteo record chart, and was ranked as the fifth best-selling album of the year. A Japanese edition of the album was released through Pony Canyon on January 7, 2009, which peaked at number 25 on the Oricon Albums Chart with sales of 9,000 copies. Jung Ji-hoon (; born June 25, 1982), known professionally as Rain and Bi (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and record producer. The AsiaWorld–Expo is one of the two major convention and exhibition facilities in Hong Kong along with Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It was opened on 21 December 2005 by Donald Tsang, the second chief executive of Hong Kong, and it is operated by AsiaWorld–Expo Management Limited. It is located on Chek Lap Kok island, next to the Hong Kong International Airport.
