''Radio Free Roscoe'' is a teen drama, teen comedy-drama television series. The series was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, and produced by DHX Media, Decode Entertainment. It first aired on August 1, 2003, on Family Channel (Canadian TV network), Family Channel in Canada. It has also been dubbed in French (as required for Government of Canada, Canadian federally funded TV shows) in the province of Quebec and aired on Vrak. The show was later aired on U.S. network Noggin (brand), Noggin's teen block, The N, where the show received funding for a second season. The series ended on May 27, 2005, because The N decided to stop funding the show, and Family, along with Decode Entertainment, could not fill the gap in the production budget. The N (standing for Noggin) was a prime time and late-night block programming, programming block on the Noggin (brand), Noggin television channel, aimed at preteens and teenagers. It was launched on April 1, 2002, by MTV Networks and Sesame Workshop. Before the block's introduction, Noggin's daytime lineup included Preadolescence, tween shows like ''A Walk in Your Shoes'', ''Sponk!'', and ''Big Kids''. In 2002, Noggin restructured its daytime lineup to cater to preschool children. From then onward, the shows targeted to older children only aired during the night as part of The N. The Meligrove Band is a Canadian indie rock band, based in Toronto, and consisting of Jason Nunes on vocals, guitar and piano, Darcy Rego on vocals and drums, Brian O'Reilly on guitar and synthesizer, and Michael Small on bass guitar. History The band was formed in 1997 in Mississauga by Nunes, Small and Rego, when the three attended Father Michael Goetz Secondary School in Mississauga. Their first public performance was in March 1998 at Club Shanghai in Toronto.
