List Of QAS Emerging Origin Squads
This article shows the players that have played been selected by the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) for the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) Emerging Origin squad. The squad meets for a weekend camp, usually held in January, run by the current Queensland rugby league team, Queensland State of Origin series, State of Origin coach. In earlier years, a player could be named in the next season's squad, despite already making their State of Origin debut. Since 2010, once a player has represented Queensland, they are deemed to have "graduated" from the squad and are not selected again. Queensland Rugby League
The Queensland Rugby Football League QRL Constitution, 2009: 3 (QRL QRL Constitution, 2009: 2) is the governing body for rugby league in Queensland. It is a member of the Australian Rugby League Commission (ARL Commission) and selects the members of the Queensland rugby league team. The QRL aims to "foster, develop, extend, govern and control Rugby League Football throughout the State of Queensland". Today the QRL administers the rugby league through its regional divisions. It is also responsible for the Queensland Rugby League team. The QRL's headquarters are on Vulture Street, Woolloongabba in Brisbane. Scott William Donald (born 14 February 1980) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played in the National Rugby League for Australian clubs, North Queensland Cowboys, Parramatta Eels and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, and in the Super League for English club, Leeds Rhinos, usually on the . Ben Czislowski
Ben Czislowski (born 8 April 1983) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. Czislowski played for the Brisbane Broncos and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the National Rugby League. His position of choice was at prop-forward. Early years Czislowski was born in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. While attending Runcorn State High School, Czislowski played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2000. Czislowski played junior footy for Logan Brothers. Czislowski experienced a collision with an opponent Matt Austin of the Tweed Heads. 2002 State Of Origin Series
The 2002 State of Origin series saw the 21st time that the annual three-game series between the Queensland and New South Wales representative rugby league football teams was played entirely under ' state of origin' selection rules. Johnathan Dean Thurston (born 25 April 1983) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the National Rugby League (NRL). Thurston was an Australian international, Queensland State of Origin and Indigenous All Stars representative. He played as a or five-eighth and was a noted goal-kicker. Cameron Wayne Smith (born 18 June 1983) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a , spending his entire career with the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League (NRL). The Canberra Raiders are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the national capital city of Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. Parramatta Eels
The Parramatta Eels are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta that competes in the National Rugby League. The Parramatta District Rugby League Football Club was formed in 1947, and their home ground was Parramatta Stadium (formerly Cumberland Oval). As of 2019, Parramatta's home ground stadium has been rebuilt and they now play as the co-tenants at Western Sydney Stadium, which sits on the same site that was once Parramatta Stadium.
