''Pushing Daisies'' is an American comedy-drama television series created by Bryan Fuller that aired on ABC. It premiered in the United States on ABC on October 3, 2007; in Canada on October 2, 2007, on CTV; and aired in the UK on ITV. Series overview Episodes Season 1 (2007) Due to the 2007–08 Writers Guild of America strike, this season consisted of only nine episodes. The episodes aired a day earlier in Canada on CTV before their air dates in the United States. Season 2 (2008–09) ''Pushing Daisies'' was renewed for a second season in February 2008 by ABC for the 2008–09 television season. On November 20, 2008, after six episodes were broadcast, ABC canceled the show. A total of thirteen episodes were produced for the season, with four of them broadcast in November and December. The final three episodes premiered world wide on German free-to-air television network ProSieben and were later broadcast in the U.S. on Saturdays starting May 30 and ending on June 13, ...

''Pushing Daisies'' is an American comedy-drama television series created by Bryan Fuller that aired on ABC from October 3, 2007, to June 13, 2009. The series stars Lee Pace as Ned, a pie-maker with the ability to bring dead things back to life with his touch, an ability that comes with stipulations. Together with his formerly deceased childhood crush Chuck (Anna Friel), co-worker Olive Snook (Kristin Chenoweth), and private investigator Emerson Cod (Chi McBride), Ned uses his abilities to solve murder cases. The cast also includes Ellen Greene, Swoosie Kurtz and Field Cate, with Jim Dale acting as narrator. The 2008–09 network television schedule for the six major English language commercial broadcast networks in the United States covers the prime time hours from September 2008 to August 2009. The schedule is followed by a list per network of returning series, new series, and series canceled after the 2007–08 season. The schedule omits the Public Broadcasting Service (whose programming is listed here). NBC was the first to announce its fall schedule on April 2, 2008, followed by ABC and The CW on May 13, CBS on May 14, Fox on May 15, and MyNetworkTV on May 22. Early life Dannelly was born in Würzburg, Germany then moved with his family to Baltimore, Maryland at age 11.
