List Of Portuguese Football Transfers Winter 2012–13
This is a list of Portuguese winter football transfers for the 2012–13 season. The winter transfer window opened on 1 January 2013 and closed on 31 January 2013. Players could be bought before the transfer window opened, but were not permitted to join their new clubs until 1 January. Additionally, players without a club could join at any time and clubs were able to sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan if they had no registered goalkeeper available. Only moves involving Primeira Liga clubs are listed; included are clubs that completed transfers after the end of the summer 2012 transfer window and before the end of the 2012–13 winter window. Transfer Window
In association football, a transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club, club can add players to their squad who were previously under contract with another club. Such a Transfer (association football), transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. The second registration period occurs during the season and may not exceed four weeks. Mauro Andrés Caballero Aguilera (born 27 September 1994) is a Paraguayan professional footballer who plays as a striker for Portuguese club Oliveirense. Football Club Sion, commonly known as simply FC Sion or Sion, is a Swiss Association football, football club from the city of Sion, Switzerland, Sion. Gelson da Conceição Tavares Fernandes (born 2 September 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. João Pedro Ferreira Vilela (born 9 September 1985) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Club career A youth product of hometown's S.L. Benfica, joining at the age of nine, Lisbon-born Vilela was promoted to the main squad for the 2004–05 season, but only appeared in preseason for the club, joining Gil Vicente F.C. on loan in January 2006.
