The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) is an American professional wrestling professional wrestling promotion, promotion and governing body owned by Billy Corgan and operated by its parent company Lightning One, Inc. Founded in 1948, the NWA began as the governing body for a group of regional promotions, the heads of which made up the board of directors. NWA World League Wrestling is a Troy, Missouri-based professional wrestling promotion affiliated with Harley Race's Wrestling Academy school. It was established in 1999 by former World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race. The promotion is part of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)'s territory system. The NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship (''Campeonato Mundial Historico de Peso Medio de la NWA'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). NWA World Historic Light Heavyweight Championship
The NWA World Historic Light Heavyweight Championship (''Campeonato Mundial Historico de Peso Semicompleto de la NWA'' in Spanish language, Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship (professional wrestling), championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). CMLL had held the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship for over 48 years, when the relationship between the promotion and National Wrestling Alliance broke down in March 2010. Blue Demon Jr., the president of NWA Mexico, sent letters to CMLL, telling them to stop promoting the NWA-branded championships since they were no longer part of the NWA. The NWA World Welterweight Championship () is an inactive professional wrestling championship governed by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and most recently promoted by NWA Mexico. The championship was originally created in 1946 by the Mexican promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). As with all professional wrestling championships, matches for the NWA World Welterweight Championship were not won or lost competitively but by a pre-planned ending to a match, with the outcome determined by the CMLL bookers and match makers. CMLL controlled the championship from 1946 until 1996 and again from 2007 until 2010. NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship (New Jersey Version)
The New Jersey version of the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship was a short-lived National Wrestling Alliance title recognized in the U.S. state of New Jersey in 1997 and 1998. The title used the word "light heavyweight" as the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship was still controlled by New Japan Pro-Wrestling at the time as part of the J-Crown. This version of the title is in no way related to the original version of the championship, defended in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), in use since the early 1950s. The NWA Canadian Tag Team Championship is a tag team professional wrestling championship previously based in NWA: Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling, although the title has been contested for in the Canadian Wrestling Federation, NWA Green Mountain and NWA Quebec. The NWA British Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling championship that formerly served as the major title in the NWA UK Hammerlock promotion. The Intercontinental Tag Team Championship, also known as the NWA Intercontinental Tag Team Championship, is a professional wrestling tag team championship in Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling Zero1, typically reserved for (but not exclusive to) heavyweight (>) wrestlers.
