Maharashtra
Maharashtra (; , abbr. MH or Maha) is a state in the western peninsular region of India occupying a substantial portion of the Deccan Plateau. Mahesh Amber Kothare (Marathi pronunciation: əɦeːʃ koʈʰaːɾe born 28 September 1953) is an Indian film actor, director and producer of Marathi and Hindi films. He started his acting career as child artist. Kothare acted in well-known movies such as ''Raja Aur Runk'', ''Chhota Bhai'', ''Mere Laal'', and ''Ghar Ghar ki Kahani''. The well known Hindi song ''Tu Kitni Achhi Hain'' from the film ''Raja Aur Runk'' features Kothare as Master Mahesh. Vijay Chavan (2 May 1955 – 24 August 2018) was an Indian film, television and stage actor, notable for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema. Shrabani Deodhar is an Indian film director and screenwriter who won the Indian National Film Award for her very first project, the 1993 feature film ''Lapandav''. Laxmikant Berde (26 October 1954 – 16 December 2004) was an Indian Marathi language film actor who appeared in several Marathi and Hindi movies. He was known for his highly energetic slapstick performances. Berde started his career as an employee in the production company Marathi Sahitya Sangh and then played supporting roles in a few Marathi stage plays.
