Yasser Al-Masri
Yasser Al-Masri ( ar, ياسر المصري) (22 November 1970 – 23 August 2018) was a Kuwaiti-born Jordanian-Palestinian actor. Biography Yasser Al-Masri was born in Kuwait City to a family of seven brothers and sisters. He graduated from Al-Rumaithiya Secondary School. He held a BA in Music Science from the Jordan Academy of Music, majoring in the clarinet and piano. In 2000, he married a journalist in the Jordanian newspaper Al Ra'i, Nisreen al-Kurd, with whom he had three children. Career Yasser Al-Masri had been involved in the art movement since the early 1990s through the "Theater Theater" group founded by Khaled Al-Tarifi in 1994. He began as an actor in the film ''Ya Ya Sama'in'', and his talent burst in 2007 with his performance of the role of Nimr bin Adwan, a poet in the series ''Nimr bin Adwan''. Mais Abdel-Jabbar Hamdan Selim ( ar, ميس عبد الجبار حمدان سليم, born October 31, 1982), better known as Mais Hamdan ( ar, ميس حمدان), is a Jordanian actress, singer and TV presenter. Her sisters are Mai Selim and Dana Hamdan. Early life Mais Hamdan was born in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to a Jordanian father of Palestinian descent, and a Jordanian- Lebanese mother. Noor Taher (; born 2 November 1999) is a Jordanian actress and model. She is best known for her role as Layan Murad Fathi on the Netflix miniseries ''AIRawabi School for Girls''. Anjara ( ar, عنجرة) is an ancient town located at northern Jordan in the Ajloun Governorate. The city is situated 4 kilometers to the south of Ajloun, and 73 kilometers to the north of the Jordanian capital Amman. Etymology The name of Anjara is composed of two words: Ain (spring well in Arabic) + Jara (taken from Syriac word of "caria" meaning running). The full name would mean the "running spring".
