Mohsen Chavoshi Hosseini ( (); born 30 July 1979) is an Iranian musician, singer, record producer and songwriter, based in Tehran. He has released ten albums, including a soundtrack to the 2007 film ''Santouri''. Early life Chavoshi was born in Khorramshahr, Khuzestan Province to a Kurdish family from Kurdistan Province. His family migrated to Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Province, where he also completed his education. Career Chavoshi began his music career after he finished school and military service. His 2008 album ''Ye Shakhe Niloufar'' (a lotus sprout) received permission to be released legally. The CD became the biggest legally sold in Iran by selling over one million legal non-bootleg copies. Bineshpahjooh has performed with orchestras in Europe and North America and translated works from Pablo Neruda and Bertolt Brecht into Persian. He has written several books, some of which have been banned by the Government of Iran. Bineshpahjooh studied political geography, urban planning, and music composition. Saman Es'hagh Beigi (; born November 22, 1982) known as Sami Beigi () is an Iranian singer and songwriter currently living in Irvine, California, United States. In an interview with "Zarebin" and "Voice of Farsi", he mentioned that he was raised in Sweden. Beigi attended musical school in which he learned to play many different instruments, began to write and to produce music. His main instrument is the guitar. He is a former member of the Persian Black Cats band and with Dear Friend Eddie Atttar gained recognition with the song he wrote for Black Cats, entitled "Yeki Bood Yeki Nabood." Abdi Behravanfar
Abdi Behravanfar ( Persian : عبدی بهروانفر, born in Mashhad, Khorasan, 1975) is an Iranian singer and songwriter. He is founder of the MUD band, based in Mashhad. He plays the guitar, harmonica and dotar (Persian folk lute). He learned guitar with Fleming Khoshghadami and dotar with Master Bakshi Almajughi. Behravanfar has recorded nearly 40 songs, in five studio albums with the others as singles. The 2 albums, ''Shalamroud'' and ''Kokheo & Kalakhet'' were released by two production companies in the United States. The first one by Bamahang Production and the second album released by Zirzamin Production. In 2012, "White Dwarf" and in 2013 "Sorrow", were released by CD Baby. Barbad
Barbad (; ) was a Persian musician-poet, music theorist and composer of Sasanian music. He served as chief minstrel-poet under the Shahanshah Khosrow II (). A '' barbat'' player, he was the most distinguished Persian musician of his time and is regarded among the major figures in the history of Persian music. Despite scarce biographical information, Barbad's historicity is generally secure. He was highly regarded in the court of Khosrow, and interacted with other musicians, such as Sarkash. Although he is traditionally credited with numerous innovations in Persian music theory and practice, the attributions remain tentative since they are ascribed centuries after his death. Gholām-Hossein Banān (; 5 May 1911 – 27 February 1986) was an Iranian musician and singer. One of the most prominent Iranian singers of the 20th century, he was renowned for the quality of his voice.
