Since the inception of the Indian football league competition, the Indian Super League, in 2014, 24 players have scored three goals (a hat-trick) or more in a single match. The first player to achieve the feat was Brazilian André Moritz who scored three times for Mumbai City in a 5–0 victory over Pune City. Bartholomew Ogbeche have scored three or more goals four times in the Indian Super League, more than any other player. The fixture between Goa and Mumbai City in 2015, saw both Dudu Omagbemi and Thongkhosiem Haokip score a hat-trick for the home team in 7–0 victory. Colombian Stiven Mendoza became the first player to score multiple hat-tricks. Bartholomew Owogbalor Ogbeche (born 1 October 1984) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker. He is the all-time top scorer in Indian Super League history. Having started his career in France with Paris Saint-Germain, he played his club football in the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Greece, England, the Netherlands and India. He is the top scorer for Hyderabad in the Indian Super League and has also held the top scorer position for NorthEast United and Kerala Blasters in the past. Marcelo Leite Pereira (born 22 June 1987), better known as Marcelinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a winger or an attacking midfielder. Iain Edward Hume (born 30 October 1983) is a Canadian football manager and former professional soccer player who played as a forward. He began his career at Tranmere Rovers in 2000, and six years later moved to Leicester City for an initial £500,000 fee.
