In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five-for" or "fifer") refers to a Bowler (cricket), bowler taking five or more wickets in a single Innings (cricket), innings. This is regarded as a notable achievement, especially in Twenty20, T20 cricket where a bowler can bowl a maximum of only 24 Delivery (cricket), balls (4 Over (cricket), overs). The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India, which has been held annually since its 2008 Indian Premier League, first season in 2008. So far, 37 five-wicket hauls have been taken by different bowlers, of which only two five-wicket hauls have been taken outside India. The 2013 Indian Premier League season (abbreviated as IPL 6 or Pepsi IPL 2013) was the sixth season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007.
