This is a list of Hersheypark attractions giving an overview of the rides and attractions, as well as information about the rides or attractions themselves. Hersheypark currently has 76 rides and water attractions. Present attractions Roller coasters Hersheypark has 14 roller coasters, the most of any amusement park in Pennsylvania. Laff (legal name: Laff Media, LLC) is an American digital multicast television network headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and is owned by the Katz Broadcasting subsidiary of the E. W. Scripps Company. The network specializes in comedy programming, featuring mainly sitcoms from the 1990s through the 2000s. Jolly Rancher Remix
Jolly Rancher Remix (formerly Sidewinder) is a steel shuttle roller coaster located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, United States. A Boomerang model manufactured by Vekoma and designed by Peter Clerx, the roller coaster originally opened as the Sidewinder on May 11, 1991. The roller coaster debuted in the Pioneer Frontier section of the park and cost $4.2 million. The Sidewinder was the first roller coaster installed in the park in 14 years since the SooperDooperLooper in 1977 and the fourth roller coaster in operation to be built. Wild Mouse Roller Coaster
A wild mouse is a type of roller coaster consisting of single or spinning cars traversing a tight-winding track with an emphasis on sharp, unbanked turns. The upper portion of the track usually features multiple 180-degree turns, known as flat turns, that produce high lateral G-forces even at modest speeds. Cars are often designed to be wider than the track to enhance the illusion of hanging over the edge. Lower portions of the track typically feature small hills and bunny hops. Wild Mouse (Hersheypark)
Wild Mouse is a steel roller coaster located in Hersheypark designed by Mack Rides in 1999. It is located in the Midway America section of Hersheypark. Riders are placed in single carts on a thin track. The ride frequently makes sharp turns, giving riders the illusion they are about to fall off the track. When this occurs the riders are jerked as they turn. In October, when Hersheypark is decorated in a Halloween theme (Hersheypark in the Dark), the Wild Mouse is dubbed Mouse Stew. Hersheypark usually runs their Wild Mouse with very little braking on the upper level, loading slow-moving cars in the station, and allows four adults per car. By comparison, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom's Wild Mouse is run with more brake pressure, cars stop to load in the station, and the park allows a two-adult restriction. Inverted Roller Coaster
An inverted roller coaster is a roller coaster in which the train runs under the track with the seats directly attached to the wheel carriage. This latter attribute is what sets it apart from the older suspended coaster, which runs under the track, but ''swings'' via a pivoting bar attached to the wheel carriage. The coaster type's inverted orientation, where the passengers' legs are exposed, distinguishes it from a traditional roller coaster, where only the passengers' upper body parts, including the arms, are exposed. The inverted coaster was pioneered by the Swiss roller coaster designers Bolliger & Mabillard in the early 1990s. The first installation came at Six Flags Great America in 1992. Great Bear is an inverted roller coaster located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, United States.
