GP3 Series
The GP3 Series, or GP3 for short, was a single-seater motor racing series launched in 2010 as a feeder series for the GP2 Series, introduced by GP2 organiser Bruno Michel. GP3 followed the entire European leg of the Formula One series and the GP2 (now Formula 2) series as a support race for the two. Like the GP2 series, GP3 gave drivers the experience of the Grand Prix environment, and took advantage of the infrastructure, such as marshals and medical facilities, in place for the Formula One events. GP3 Series mainly raced on European circuits, but had appearances on other international race tracks, with rounds in the 2015 season at the Bahrain International Circuit in Bahrain and the Yas Marina Circuit in United Arab Emirates. Robert Wickens
Robert Tyler Wickens (born March 13, 1989) is a Canadian racing driver from Guelph, Ontario, driving in the Michelin Pilot Challenge for Bryan Herta Autosport. In 2009 he finished in second place in the FIA Formula Two Championship, and in 2010 he was runner-up in the GP3 Series. In his return to Formula Renault 3.5, where he competed in 2008, he won the 2011 season championship with Carlin Motorsport, with backing of Marussia. Wickens then left the series to race in the DTM for the HWA Team. Wickens left DTM after the 2017 season and signed to drive for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports in the 2018 IndyCar Series, going on to claim pole position in his debut race at the 2018 St. Petersburg Grand Prix. His promising debut IndyCar season came to a premature end when a violent crash during the 500-mile race at Pocono left him a paraplegic. Pedro Piquet
Pedro Estácio Leão Piquet Souto Maior (born 3 July 1998) is a Brazilian former racing driver. He is the son of three-time Formula One world champion Nelson Piquet and younger half brother of Formula E champion Nelson Piquet Jr. He is known for his successes in single-seater junior categories, including winning the 2014 and 2015 Brazilian Formula 3 Championships. Career Karting Piquet began his racing career in karts at age 8 in 2006. During his karting career, he won numerous titles, including three Brazilian championships. Toyota Racing Series Piquet debuted in single-seater cars in the 2014 Toyota Racing Series. He struggled in the first six races, finishing no higher than 13th. Pedro Henrique Nunes, also known as Pedro Enrique (born 22 August 1988, in São Paulo) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Formula Three Sudamericana Nunes drove in the Formula Three Sudamericana championship from 2006 to 2008, finishing as runner-up in his final year in the category. Formula Renault In 2006, Nunes also drove at selected races in the Brazilian Formula Renault series. Felipe "Lopes" Guimarães (born March 22, 1991, in Anápolis, Goiás) is a Brazilian racing driver. After a childhood in karting, Guimarães transitioned to the extremely competitive Formula Three Sudamericana series at the age of 16 and finished 4th in points with two victories. 2008 took him to Europe where he competed in Euroseries 3000 where he finished 9th in points. He then competed in 11 rounds of the 2008-09 A1 Grand Prix season for A1 Team Brazil where his best finish was second place in the feature race at Kyalami. Lucas Constantino Bethonico Foresti (born 12 May 1992) is a Brazilian racing driver who currently competes in Stock Car Brasil for KTF Sports. Career Karting After a previous career in junior motocross, Foresti made his karting debut at Brasília's Kartodromo Waltinho Ferrari in June 2006, where he finished in fourth position in the Novice category. He moved into karting full-time in 2007, and immediately won four different state championships as a rookie. Leonardo Santos Cordeiro (born 8 November 1989 in São José dos Campos) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Karting Cordeiro made his karting debut in 2003, at the age of 13. In 2004 and 2005, Cordeiro became Champion of the Petrobrás Smile Cup. In 2006 and 2007, he was runner-up in the Brazilian championship. Formula Three Cordeiro began his single seater career in 2007 in the Formula Three Sudamericana championship. Driving for Lecor Sports, Cordeiro finished seventeenth in the championship, taking one podium finish at Interlagos. Cordeiro remained in the series for 2008 but switched to Cesario Fórmula. He improved to fifth in the standings with one win at Piriápolis. For 2009, Cordeiro remained in the championship with Cesario Fórmula. The 2012 Monza GP2 Series round was a GP2 Series motor race held on September 8 and 9, 2012 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy. It was the penultimate round of the 2012 GP2 Series. The race supported the 2012 Italian Grand Prix. GP2 championship contenders Luiz Razia and Davide Valsecchi both arrived at Monza with equal points.
