Fudbalski klub Sarajevo (, ; English: Sarajevo Football Club) is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is one of the most successful clubs in the country. This chronological list comprises all those who have held the position of club manager since the club's formation in 1946. In Sarajevo's history, 49 managers have so far managed the club, with some doing so on more than one occasion. The club's first manager was Josip Bulat, who led the team from 1 November 1946 to May 1947. The longest serving manager was Fuad Muzurović, who managed the club from December 1990 to November 1995. The current club manager is Zoran Zekić. Husref Musemić is the only manager in Sarajevo history who has won two or more national championships with the club. Zoran Zekić
Zoran Zekić (; born 29 April 1974) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who is currently the manager of Bosnian Premier League club Sarajevo. Managerial career In July 2010, Zekić was appointed manager of Zagreb-based local football club Maksimir, which he managed until 2013. One year later he moved to Moldova, where he managed Sheriff-2 Tiraspol in 2014, after which he became Sheriff Tiraspol manager. He won the double with Sheriff in the 2014–15 season, winning the Divizia Naţională and the national cup. On 1 September 2015, Zekić was appointed manager of hometown club Osijek in the Croatian Prva HNL, signing a three-year contract until June 2018. Franjo Lovrić
Franjo Lovrić (1 April 1923 – 5 February 1982) was a Bosnian and Yugoslav professional footballer and manager who captained FK Sarajevo as a player, and then went on to manage it a decade later. Playing career Club He began his career in 1938 with local Sarajevo club SAŠK, whom he represented until the Nazi invasion of Yugoslavia in 1941. After the end of the war the new communist authorities placed a ban on numerous football clubs throughout the country including SAŠK. He quickly joined Željezničar, but wore the blue jersey for only two seasons, eventually moving to newly-formed FK Sarajevo in 1947. He would go on to play and captain the club for another 12 years. Agim Nikolić
Agim Nikolić (born 26 July 1958) is a former Yugoslav and Bosnian professional footballer, football manager and youth football development professional. Playing career Nikolić started his playing career with Yugoslav First League side FK Sarajevo, making 46 official appearances during seven seasons before being waved by the club. Sead Jesenković
Sead Jesenković (17 February 1943 – 22 November 2023) was a Bosnian professional football player and manager. Playing career Jesenković spent most of his playing career at Bosnian club Sarajevo, making 161 official appearances for the club. He was a member of the 1966–67 Yugoslav First League title winning squad. Managerial career After ending his playing career, Jesenković became a football manager, starting out as a coach in the youth team of Sarajevo in 1977; a role he kept for a majority of his coaching career. Along with being a youth coach, Jesenković had short stints as an assistant coach to senior team managers in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2001, respectively, as well as briefly managing the senior side himself in 1999. Death On 22 November 2023, Jesenković died in Vogošća, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the age of 80. Mehmed Janjoš
Mehmed Janjoš (born 5 August 1957) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. Playing career Born in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, Janjoš began playing football for local side Sarajevo. He spent eight seasons with the club, winning the Yugoslav First League in the 1984–85 season. The following season, he moved to Spain to play in La Liga with Hércules. Janjoš went back to Sarajevo after two years in Spain. In 1988 he went to Adana Demirspor in Turkey where he finished his career in 1990. Nermin Hadžiahmetović
Nermin Hadžiahmetović (born 15 October 1953) is a Bosnian former football manager. He led Čelik Zenica to the first ever Bosnian league title in the 1994–95 season. Rajko Rašević
Rajko Rašević (; 17 November 1946 – 7 March 2011) was a Yugoslav and Bosnian professional footballer and football manager. Playing career Rašević started his playing career in his hometown club Rudar Breza, before eventually reaching the Yugoslav First League where he represented FK Sarajevo and Željezničar. Džemaludin Mušović
Džemaludin Mušović (born 30 October 1944) is a Bosnian retired football manager and player. He is regarded as one of the most successful Bosnian football managers. Club career Mušović joined Hajduk Split from Sarajevo in 1966 for 13 million dinar after being persuaded by national teammate Vinko Cuzzi to come over to Dalmatia. He immediately won the 1967 Yugoslav Cup with them, beating his former club. Denijal Pirić
Denijal Pirić (; born 27 September 1946) is a Bosnian former professional football manager and player. Club career Born in the small mining town of Živinice, Pirić started playing football at local side Slaven. Former Slaven manager Vlatko Konjevod then lured him to Dinamo Zagreb and played 8 years for the club. Pirić then joined Sarajevo. With Dinamo, he won two domestic cups and the 1966–67 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, beating Don Revie's Leeds United in the final. He played over 350 matches for Dinamo in all competitions. Boško Antić
Božidar "Boško" Antić ( sr-Cyrl, Божидар Бошко Антић, ; 7 January 1944 – 4 December 2007) was a Yugoslav and Serbian professional football manager and former player. Playing career Being drafted into the youth setup of Sarajevo from local side UNIS Vogošća at the age of thirteen, he started his senior career with the maroon-whites in 1965. A young and polyvalent team made up of home grown players such as Mirsad Fazlagić, Boško Prodanović, Vahidin Musemić and Antić would clinch the Yugoslav First League title in the 1966–67 season, and in doing so become the first championship-winning side in the club's history. Vukašin Višnjevac (; 10 June 1937 – 26 September 2019) was a Yugoslav football manager and player. Mirsad Fazlagić
Mirsad Fazlagić (born 4 April 1943) is a Bosnian retired professional football player and manager. He played as a full-back. Club career Fazlagić started his football career in the youth setup of his local hometown team Čapljina in 1957. As a talented seventeen year old, he was acquired by Yugoslav First League side FK Željezničar, where he also made his debut in the top tier of Yugoslav football. After one season with the blues he made a switch to bitter city rivals FK Sarajevo in the summer of 1960. The team led by prolific scorer Asim Ferhatović finished fourth in the league during the 1963–64 season, with Fazlagić establishing himself as the team's starting right-back.
