''EastEnders'' is a BBC soap opera that first aired on 19 February 1985. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in 2023, in order of first appearance. All characters are introduced by the show's executive producer, Chris Clenshaw. The first character to be introduced is Brett Nelson ( Fabrizio Santino), a man from Zack Hudson's ( James Farrar) past; he appears in January. Colin Roy Salmon (born 6 December 1961) is an English actor. He is known for playing Charles Robinson in three James Bond films and James "One" Shade in the ''Resident Evil'' film series. Bobby Jack Brazier (born 2 June 2003) is an English actor and model. Present in the public eye from birth due to the popularity of his mother, Jade Goody, he was frequently featured in the media throughout the formative years of his life until Goody's death in 2009. Freddie Slater (also Mitchell) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by twins Alex and Tom Kilby from 2004 to 2006 and Bobby Brazier since 2022. Christopher Evangelou (12 January 1986) is a British actor and former professional boxer who competed from 2009 to 2016. Early life Christopher Evangelou was born in Wood Green, London in the United Kingdom on 12 January 1986. He is of Greek Cypriot origin. Peter Caulfield (actor)
Peter Caulfield (born 13 June 1984) is an English actor. Training and early career Caulfield trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (the Paul McCartney "Fame" school). Whilst training he was part of a small theatre company, Hedgehog, led by director Jamie Lloyd.
