Dallas Landmark is a designation by the Law and government of Dallas, City of Dallas and the Dallas Landmark Commission for historic buildings and districts in Dallas, Texas, United States. Listed sites are selected after meeting a combination of criteria, including historical, economic, architectural, artistic, cultural, and social values. Once a structure or district is designated a landmark, it is protected by an ordinance with specific preservation criteria, which require that any alterations beyond routine maintenance, up to and including demolition, must have their Construction permit, permits reviewed by the Landmark Commission. The Drakestone (previously Davis Building) is a 20-story high-rise in downtown Dallas. The building rises to a height of 323 feet (98 m). History In 1925 Republic National Bank was ready to open its doors. On February 15, 1926, Republic National Bank held its first open house. Charles D. Hill was never able to see his creation due to his death in early January 1926. Cumberland ( ) is an area of North West England which was historically a county.
