DDT Pro-Wrestling (formerly known as Dramatic Dream Team) had held a variety of professional wrestling tournaments competed for by wrestlers that are a part of their List of DDT Pro-Wrestling personnel, roster. It featured six Six-man tag team, trios of wrestlers divided between two blocks of three. DDT Pro-Wrestling
is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Shinjuku, Tokyo. Its name is an initialism of Dramatic Dream Team, which was the promotion's original name from 1997 to 2004. Founded in March 1997 by Shintaro Muto, the promotion was eventually bought and managed by Shoichi Ichimiya until December 2005, when Sanshiro Takagi took over as the new president. In 2017, DDT was sold to CyberAgent. Takagi retained his position, while Takahiro Yamauchi took over as the new DDT director. DDT became one of the top promotions in Japanese independent wrestling by creating a unique sports entertainment style, often parodying WWE, with a Japanese puroresu flair to the matches. Though best known for wrestling under a mask, he also regularly works unmasked under the ring name Kikuzawa (stylized in all capital letters), representing Tokyo Gurentai. is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is currently a double champion: being the Strong Openweight Champion in his first reign, and one-half of the current IWGP Tag Team Champions with Taichi in their first reign as a team (Ishii's second reign individually). __NOTOC__ The is an annual single elimination professional wrestling tournament held by CyberFight's DDT Pro-Wrestling brand. Though DDT also runs the annual D-Oh Grand Prix tournament, the King of DDT is different in that it is single-elimination, whereas the D-Oh Grand Prix is a round-robin. Like the D-Oh Grand Prix however, the winner of the tournament receives a shot at the KO-D Openweight Championship; this stipulation was added in 2009. The number of participants in the King of DDT has varied over the years, from a lowest of 8 in 2005 to a highest of 32 in 2018. is a Japanese professional wrestler and former judoka and mixed martial artist, best known for his time with Dramatic Dream Team (DDT), where he competed as a mainstay from 2000 to 2006. After working as a freelancer on the Japanese independent circuit for many years, mostly at Apache Pro-Wrestling Army, in 2017 he began promoting its successor promotion, Pro-Wrestling A-Team. , known by his stage name Mikami (stylized as MIKAMI), is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is best known for his work for Dramatic Dream Team both as a singles wrestler and with Thanomsak Toba in a tag team called Suicide Boyz. Career Coming from a background in gymnastics and Greco-Roman wrestling, Mikami started training professional wrestling in Universal Lucha Libre in 1993.
