Lifest
Lifest is an annual Christian music festival that takes place in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, at the Sunnyview Expo Center. Lifest has the slogan "A Party with a Purpose." It is one of the largest Christian music festivals in America. History Lifest started as a walk/run in 1990. Lifest became a music festival in 1999 and was attendance by 7000. It became five days long for the first time in 2006. Starting in 2013, it was shortened to four days. It is held on or around the second weekend of July. In 2013, Lifest had an average of 20,000 attendees per day. The event had 23,000 attendees in 2017. As of 2018, Lifest featured around 150 artists on seven stages. The festival is a member of the Christian Festival Association. The Winnebago County, Wisconsin, Winnebago County fairgrounds board approved allowing Lifest to build a $750,000 permanent main stage. Kingdom Bound
Kingdom Bound is an annual Christian music festival held at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort near Buffalo, New York. The festival takes place over a span of three days and has hosted a variety of Christian speakers and artists since the late 1980s. History Kingdom Bound started out as an idea by two locals from Buffalo, New York, Fred Caserta, a booking agent and concert promoter, and Mike Caputy, a local musician. ''1980s-'' In 1986, Caserta and Caputy presented a concert featuring Christian artists Sheila Walsh, Russ Taff, and Mylon LeFevre. Following this concert, Caserta and Caputy were approached by Kevin Ketcham, who, at the time, was the special events coordinator for Darien Lake Theme Park, located halfway between Buffalo and Rochester, New York. Ketcham presented them with an idea of holding a Christian music day at the theme park, and in October 1987, the Kingdom Bound festival made its debut. HeavenFest
HeavenFest was an annual Christian music festival attracting tens of thousands of people each summer. The festival was held in multiple cities over the years along the Front Range Urban Corridor, Front Range of Colorado. History In its first two years, HeavenFest drew 12,500 and 23,000 people to the grounds of Northern Hills Church near Brighton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver, Colorado, Denver. The 2010 event brought in the Scream the Prayer Tour while changing locations to a field in Longmont and drawing over 35,000 attendees. After one year in Longmont, The Ranch (Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex) in Loveland became the new host of the festival. After 2 years in Loveland, organizers cancelled the 2013 event for "a year of rest." Cornerstone Florida
{{Notability, Event, date=June 2017 Cornerstone Florida was an annual American Christian rock festival held in Orlando, Florida, from 2003 to 2007, a satellite festival of the original Cornerstone Festival in Illinois. It was one of the twenty-five festivals recognized by the Christian Festival Association. It has hosted such bands as Relient K, Kutless, Anberlin, and Family Force 5. In addition to hosting national bands on the main stages, it also allowed for local Christian bands in the area (and from around the state) to perform on side stages for the passing crowds to see and experience. Starting during the 2004 festival, Cornerstone Florida made an emphasis on doing more than music as they introduced worship and seminar stages for those in attendance who were interested. Alive Festival, located in Mineral City, Ohio, is an annual Christian music festival. It features many Christian musicians and popular Christian bands, as well as several Christian speakers and worship leaders. The festival began in 1988 and celebrated its 20th anniversary June 20–23, 2007. Alive is usually held in mid-summer over four days. Attendants can stay overnight at Atwood Lake#Recreation, Atwood Lake Park in Mineral City, Ohio. Greenbelt Festival
Greenbelt Festival is a festival of arts, faith and justice held annually in England since 1974. Greenbelt has grown out of an evangelical Christian music festival with an audience of 1,500 young people into its current form, a more inclusive festival attended at its peak around 2010 by around 20,000, including Christians and those from other faiths. The festival regularly attracts the biggest names of Christian music and many mainstream musicians. The festivals are characterized by more than just music; many feature motivational speakers and evangelists, and include seminars on Christian spiritual and missions topics, service, and evangelism. They are often viewed as evangelical tools, and small festivals can draw 10 times the crowd of traditional revival meetings. While the central theme of a Christian festival is Jesus Christ, the core appeal of a Christian music festival remains the artists and their music.
