2024–25 Armenian Premier League
The 2024–25 Armenian Premier League, known as the IDBank Armenian Premier League () for sponsorship reasons, was the 33rd season of the league since its establishment. Season events On 3 July, the Football Federation of Armenia announced that 11 teams would take part in this seasons Armenian Premier League, with BKMA Yerevan being saved from relegation and Gandzasar Kapan being promoted from Armenian First League, with each team playing each other three times. On 21 November, the Round 17 match between Pyunik and West Armenia was cancelled after West Armenia did not attend due to a protest by their players over late payment of salaries. On 6 December, the match was awarded as a 3-0 technical defeat in favour of Pyunik. On 28 February, the Round 21 match between Ararat Yerevan and Gandzasar Kapan was abandoned due to crowd trouble. BKMA Yerevan
FC BKMA Yerevan ( or ; ''Banaki Kentronakan Marzakan Akumb Yerevan''; ) is an Armenian professional football club based in Yerevan. History During the days of the Soviet rule in Armenia, the Central Sport Club of the Army Yerevan was founded in 1947 in Yerevan. It was commonly known with its Russian abbreviation as CSKA Yerevan. After the independence of Armenia in 1991, the BKMA made their professional debut in domestic football competitions in the 1994 Armenian First League where they finished 3rd. In the 1995–96 Armenian First League season, they finished 2nd behind FC Arabkir, to get the opportunity to face Aragats Gyumri in the promotion play-off match in which they beat the Armenian Premier League side and were promoted for the following season. Halfway through the 1997 season, BKMA were folded and all their remaining matches were awarded 3–0 to their opponents, resulting in the 12th and last position and relegation. Serob Davidovich Grigoryan (; ; born 4 February 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Van. Born in Russia, he plays for the Armenia national team. Bladimir Yovany Díaz Saavedra (born 10 July 1992) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Alashkert in the Armenian Premier League. Mosta () is a small but densely populated city in the Northern Region of Malta. The most prominent building in Mosta is the Rotunda, a large basilica built by its parishioners' volunteer labour. Armen Hovhannisyan (; born 7 March 2000) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Armenian Premier League club Alashkert. Career Zemplín Michalovce Hovhannisyan made his professional debut for Zemplín Michalovce against DAC Dunajská Streda on 24 May 2019. DAC had won the game 5–0. FC Khimki () was a Russian professional football club based in Khimki. History The team was formed in 1996 by merging two amateur clubs from Khimki, Rodina, and Novator.
