''Adventure Time'' is an American animated television media franchise created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The first series, ''Adventure Time'' (2010–2018), follows the adventures of Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada), a human boy, and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake (John DiMaggio), a dog with magical powers to change shape and grow and shrink at will. An adventure is an exciting experience or undertaking that is typically bold, sometimes risky. Adventures may be activities with danger such as traveling, exploring, skydiving, mountain climbing, scuba diving, river rafting, or other extreme sports. Ice King
Simon Petrikov, more commonly called the Ice King, is a fictional character in the ''Adventure Time'' franchise. He was first introduced in the American animated television series ''Adventure Time''. The character was the main antagonist of the show's early seasons and develops into a supporting character in later seasons. He is also a main character in the adult animated spin-off series '' Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake''. The character is voiced by the American actor Tom Kenny in most appearances. Originally introduced as an evil but incompetent wizard obsessed with kidnapping princesses, he was depicted in later seasons of ''Adventure Time'' as a lonely man driven insane by a magical crown which grants him ice powers. ''Random! Cartoons'' is an American animated anthology series that aired on Nicktoons. Much like '' Oh Yeah! Cartoons'', it was created by Fred Seibert and produced by Frederator Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studio. It premiered on December 6, 2008, and ended on December 20, 2009. Production Series creator Fred Seibert ordered 13 half-hour episodes (39 7-minute segments) for the series, which was originally announced in 2005 as the fourth season of '' Oh Yeah! Cartoons''. Production on the series started in 2005 and ended in 2007. Originally slated to air on Nickelodeon by the end of 2007, it was later halted for release in 2008 on the separate Nicktoons Network channel. Frederator
Frederator Studios is an American animation television production studio founded by Fred Seibert in January 1997. It is a division of Frederator Networks, Inc., itself a part of Kartoon Studios' Canadian holding company Wow Unlimited Media. The studio's slogan is "Original Cartoons since 1998." Frederator and Seibert have been credited with producing various, critically-acclaimed media projects, predominantly in animation suitable for general audiences.
