Atlético de Kolkata was a professional football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal, which played in the Indian Super League until its merger with Mohun Bagan AC to form Mohun Bagan Super Giant in 2020. This list consists of all the head coaches of the team since its inception in 2014 till 2020. Player-managers are also included in the list. This list features all the statistics of each coach and their achievements with the club. The first full time manager was Antonio López Habas in 2014 under whose guidance the club won its first ever league title in the very first season of the ISL. ATK (formerly Atlético de Kolkata) was an Indian professional football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The club competed in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football and were the league champions during the inaugural 2014, 2016 and 2019–20 seasons respectively. The club was owned by Kolkata Games and Sports Pvt. Ltd. which consists of former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, alongside businessmen Harshavardhan Neotia, Sanjiv Goenka and Utsav Parekh Initially, for the first three seasons, Spanish La Liga club Atlético Madrid was also a co-owner; later Goenka bought the shares owned by Atlético Madrid. Teddy Sheringham
Edward Paul "Teddy" Sheringham, MBE (born 2 April 1966) is an English football manager and former player. He played as a forward, mostly as a second striker, in a 24-year professional career. Sheringham began his career at Millwall, where he scored 111 goals between 1983 and 1991, and is the club's second all-time leading scorer. He left to join First Division Nottingham Forest. A year later, Sheringham scored Forest's first ever Premiership goal, and was signed by Tottenham Hotspur. Stephen James Coppell (born 9 July 1955) is an English professional football manager and former player. As a player, he was a highly regarded right winger known for his speed and work rate. He won domestic honours with Manchester United and represented England at the World Cup. After a knee injury ended his playing career, he went into management. Robert David Keane (born 8 July 1980) is an Irish professional football coach and former player who played as a striker. Ashley Michael Westwood (born 31 August 1976) is an English professional football manager and former player. A graduate of the Manchester United Academy, the defender signed with Crewe Alexandra in 1995. Three years later he moved on to Bradford City. Winning promotion to the Premier League with the Bantams, he transferred to Sheffield Wednesday in 2000. He moved on to Northampton Town in 2003, where he stayed for three years. 2016 Indian Super League Season
The 2016 Indian Super League season was the third season of the Indian Super League, the football league, since its establishment in 2013. The season featured eight teams again, each playing 14 matches during the regular season before the finals. The regular season began on 1 October and ended on 4 December. The finals began on 10 December and concluded with the final on 18 December. The defending champions coming into the season were Chennaiyin. At the end of the season, Atlético de Kolkata came out as champions after defeating the Kerala Blasters in a penalty shootout, 4–3, during the final. José Francisco Molina Jiménez (born 8 August 1970) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
