Lisa I'Anson
Lisa I'Anson (, born 31 May 1965) is a British radio presenter, television presenter, and VJ. Career I'Anson first started as a broadcaster on the then pirate radio station Kiss FM, and through to its legal licence, presenting the magazine show ''The Word''. From 1988 to 1995, she was a VJ on the MTV Europe, first presenting ''MTV News At Night'', and then onto the ''MTV Hit List''. From 1995 to 1996, she presented the weekday lunchtime show on BBC Radio 1, taking over from Emma Freud. She then presented the weekend lunchtime show from 1997 to 1999. In August 1998, during Radio 1's annual visit to Ibiza, I'Anson failed to turn up for work after a night of clubbing. Although it has been widely reported that she was sacked by the BBC as a direct result, she was reportedly given a final warning, had her wages docked, and was made to issue an apology to her fellow presenters and crew and left the station by "amicable agreement" six months later. ''Celebrity Big Brother 2005'', also known as ''Celebrity Big Brother 3'', was the third series of the British reality television series ''Celebrity Big Brother''. It launched on 6 January 2005 and ended on 23 January 2005, airing on Channel 4. Davina McCall returned as host of the main show. The series continued with '' Big Brother 5''s 'evil' theme. It was won by dancer Mark "Bez" Berry. This was the first series of ''Celebrity Big Brother'' to air since 2002, as '' Teen Big Brother: The Experiment'' and '' Big Brother Panto'' were broadcast in its place in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Erin Pizzey
Erin Patria Margaret Pizzey (; born 19 February 1939) is a British men's rights activist and novelist known for her advocacy on behalf of both men's and women's rights and for her work against domestic violence. She is recognized for founding the world's first and largest domestic violence shelter in the world, Refuge, then known as Chiswick Women's Aid, in 1971. Pizzey says that she has been the subject of death threats and boycotts because her experience and research into the issue led her to conclude that most domestic violence is reciprocal, and that women are as capable of violence as men. These threats eventually led to her exile from the UK. Pizzey has said that the threats were from militant feminists. She has also stated that she is banned from the refuge she started. Solar Radio is a London-based radio station, which originally started life as a UK pirate radio, pirate radio station. Solar broadcasts primarily Soul music, soul to London on Digital Audio Broadcasting, DAB and online. Solar (originally short for ''Sound of Londons Alternative Radio'') first broadcast as a pirate radio station in October 1984, and was founded by DJ Tony Monson, who later joined Kiss (UK radio station), Kiss FM. Solar ceased broadcasting in October 1988 as an unlicensed operator. MOBO Awards
The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin, also known as the MOBOs) are an annual British music award presentation honouring achievements in " music of black origin", including hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and Bantu music.
