Lindsay Van Zundert
Lindsay van Zundert (born 1 February 2005) is a retired Dutch Figure skating, figure skater. She is the 2021 Celje Open champion, the 2020 NRW Trophy champion, and a three-time Dutch Figure Skating Championships, Dutch national champion. Personal life Van Zundert was born on 1 February 2005 in Etten-Leur. As of 2020, she was a education in the Netherlands, mavo-4 student at Graaf Engelbrecht in Breda. Career Early career Van Zundert began skating at the age of seven. She competed at domestic Belgian competitions early in her career. In 2015, van Zundert began training under Ans Bocklandt in Courchevel, France and Wilrijk, Belgium. Van Zundert is the 2017 and 2018 Dutch Figure Skating Championships, Dutch advanced novice national champion. 2022 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2022 World Figure Skating Championships were held from March 21–27, 2022, at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier, France. Sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and hosted this year by Skate Canada, the World Championships are considered the most prestigious event in figure skating, second only to the Olympics. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each skating federation at the 2023 World Championships. 2019–20 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2019–20 ISU Junior Grand Prix was a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union that were held from August 2019 through December 2019. It was the junior-level complement to the 2019–20 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals were awarded in single skating, men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points based on their placement at each event and the top six in each discipline qualified to compete at the 2019–20 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final in Turin, Italy. 2021 European Figure Skating Championships
The 2021 European Figure Skating Championships were scheduled to be held from 25 to 31 January 2021 at the Arena Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia. Medals would have been awarded in men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Zagreb was announced as the host in June 2018. The city had previously hosted the competition in 1974, 1979, 2008, and 2013. The competition was cancelled by the International Skating Union on 10 December 2020, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the first time since World War II that the European Championships were not held. Jenni Saarinen
Jenni Saarinen (born 9 March 1999) is a Finnish retired competitive figure skater. She is a two-time Challenger series bronze medalist, a two-time Nordics champion (2015, 2019), the 2018 Christmas Cup silver medalist, and the 2022 Finnish national champion. Jorik Hendrickx (born 18 May 1992) is a Belgian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2017 CS Nebelhorn Trophy champion, the 2016 CS Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, a three-time Coupe du Printemps champion (2012, 2013, 2016), the 2017 International Challenge Cup champion, and a three-time Belgian national champion (2010, 2016, 2017). 2020 CS Nebelhorn Trophy
The 2020 CS Nebelhorn Trophy was held in September 2020 in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was part of the 2020–21 ISU Challenger Series. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. On August 25, 2020, the German Ice Skating Union confirmed that Nebelhorn Trophy would be held as scheduled, but without spectators and would include extensive social distancing guidelines and procedures for the athletes and coaches in attendance. The 2020–21 ISU Junior Grand Prix would have been a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union to be held from August 2020 through December 2020.
