Lidio Andrés Feliz
Lidio Andrés Feliz (born 26 June 1997) is a sprinter from the Dominican Republic. He won three major medals as part of Dominican mixed 4 × 400 metres relays, including silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and gold at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. Feliz claimed the gold medal in the 400 metres at the 2022 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics. 2022 World Athletics Championships
The 2022 World Athletics Championships was the eighteenth edition of the World Athletics Championships. It was held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, United States, from July 15–24, 2022, with the country hosting that competition for the first time. The competition was originally scheduled for August 6–15, 2021, but it was pushed back by one year due to the postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to 2021. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, World Athletics banned all Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from participating at the championships. In addition, the stringent vaccination requirements for people entering the United States caused visa delays for participants and officials, with some ultimately being unable to enter the country. These issues caused the final total to stand at 179 nations (180 including the Athlete Refugee Team), the lowest number since Tokyo 1991. 2022 Ibero-American Championships In Athletics
The 19th Ibero-American Championships in Athletics were held at the Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano in Spain in La Nucía (most events) and Torrevieja (half marathon), between May 20 and 22, 2022. The competition was originally scheduled to take place in 2020 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife but had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. La Nucia (; ) is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of Marina Baixa, Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain. Track And Field At The 2019 Military World Games
The track and field competition at the 2019 Military World Games was held from 22 to 27 October 2019 at the Wuhan Five Rings Sports Center in Wuhan, China. A total of 45 athletics events were contested, 24 by men and 21 by women. Women did not compete in pole vault, 50 kilometres race walk or the 10,000 metres. Marathon events were staged on the East Lake Greenway. The men's 400 metres competition of the athletics events at the 2019 Pan American Games will take place between the 7 and 8 of August at the 2019 Pan American Games Athletics Stadium. The defending Pan American Games champion is Luguelín Santos from the Dominican Republic. Summary Demish Gaye on the outside and Bralon Taplin in the middle of the track edged out to a slight lead, but down the backstretch it was almost an even stagger across the track. Through the turn, Taplin started to lose ground putting Gaye into the lead coming off the turn. Really as they hit the straightaway, Gaye's one step forward and Anthony Zambrano's one step back were the only thing that interrupted a shoulder to shoulder wall across the track.
