''License to Wed'' is a 2007 American romantic comedy film directed by Ken Kwapis. Starring Robin Williams, Mandy Moore and John Krasinski, with Christine Taylor, Eric Christian Olsen and Josh Flitter in supporting roles, the film tells the story of a reverend who puts an engaged couple through a grueling marriage preparation course to see if they are meant to be married in his church. The film was released in theaters in the United States on July 3, 2007, by Warner Bros. Pictures, and received negative reviews from critics. Kenneth William Kwapis (born August 17, 1957) is an American film and television director, screenwriter, and author. He specialized in single-camera sitcoms in the 1990s and 2000s and has directed feature films such as '' Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird'' (1985), ''The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants'' (2005), and '' He's Just Not That Into You'' (2009). First Congregational Church is a church of the United Church of Christ located in downtown Long Beach, California. The church occupies a historic red brick structure that was built in 1914. The Italian Romanesque Revival building has been designated as a Long Beach Historic Landmark and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. Kim Barker is a journalist who authored The_Taliban_Shuffle, The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan about her experiences covering the War in Afghanistan (2001–present), war in Afghanistan.
