''Let the Sun Shine Again'' (German: ''Lass die Sonne wieder scheinen'') is a 1955 Austrian-West German musical comedy film directed by Hubert Marischka and starring Hans Holt, Hertha Feiler and Cornelia Froboess.Wagnleitner p.281 Shooting took place in the Triglav studios in Ljubljana and on location at the resorts of Opatija and Portorož on the Adriatic. The film's sets were designed by the art director Mirko Lipuzic. Hubert Marischka
Hubert Marischka (27 August 1882 – 4 December 1959), brother of Ernst Marischka, was an Austrian operetta tenor, actor, film director and screenwriter. Career Marischka was born in Brunn am Gebirge, the son of Jiří (or Johann) Marischka, a supplier to the court of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, and his wife Bertha. Hubert began work as a joiner but trained as a singer and in 1904 began a new career in operetta in the town theatre of St. Pölten in ''Der arme Jonathan'' by Karl Millöcker. He had his first success as a singer in Brünn in 1906, as Danilo in ''Die lustige Witwe''. On 27 July 1907 he sang at the premiere of the '' Der fidele Bauer'' by Leo Fall in Mannheim. On 23 December 1908 he appeared on stage for the first time in Vienna at the Carltheater in Fall's ''Die geschiedene Frau''. Robert Lembke
Robert Lembke (''Robert Emil Weichselbaum'') (born 17 September 1913 in Munich; died 14 January 1989) was a German television presenter and game show host. Life Lembke started to study law at the age of 18, but dropped out of college. He then worked as a newspaper journalist (Berliner Tageblatt and Simplicissimus). He refused to sign a loyalty oath to Adolf Hitler and was subsequently barred from working as a journalist in Nazi Germany. He then took a job at IG Farben. His Jewish father had fled to England in 1936. In 1935, Lembke married Mathilde Bertholt and three years later they had a daughter. After World War II Lembke worked as a journalist. Together with Hans Habe, Erich Kästner and Stefan Heym Lembke started German newspaper Die Neue Zeitung in Munich.Since 1949 Lembke worked for German broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk.
