Leján Lewthwaite
Leján Lewthwaite (born 12 February 1991) is a South African professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career Lewthwaite was born in Benoni, Gauteng and was 9 years old when she picked up her first club, but only started focusing on golf after she turned 17 and attended the Gavin Levenson Golf Academy. In 2011 she was offered a full golf scholarship to Texas State University, where she won her first NCAA division 1 collegiate tournament in just her second start. She graduated with a BSc degree (cum laude) in 2015 and returned to South Africa. Professional career Lewthwaite turned professional at the start of 2016. She competed in eight tournaments in the 2017 LET Access Series with a best finish being T10 at the Foxconn Czech Ladies Challenge. In 2018 she played in four LET events and then earned her Ladies European Tour card for 2019 by finishing T10 at qualifying school. Katja Pogačar (born 12 April 1994) is a Slovenian professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour and the Symetra Tour. Amateur career Pogačar started playing golf at the age of 6 and was the top ranked female junior golfer in Slovenia between 2008 and 2012, winning the Slovenian Junior Championships four times in that period. She won the Leone di San Marco in 2012, the Hungarian Ladies Amateur in 2012, and the Czech Amateur Championship in 2014. The Saint-Omer Open is an annual men's professional golf tournament played at Saint-Omer Golf Club in Saint-Omer, France. The tournament was founded in 1997 and was part of the MasterCard Tour a year later, before taking its place on the Challenge Tour for the 2000 season. In 2003 it also became an official money event on the European Tour, but since it was played during the same week as the U.S. Open (one of golf's four major championships), the tour's leading players were not available to play. The 2023 LET Access Series is a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2023 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. Tandi McCallum
Tandi McCallum (born 17 April 1986) is a South African professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She was runner-up at the 2010 Women's Indian Open and the 2012 Lalla Meryem Cup. Career McCallum started playing golf at age 15 and won six national amateur tournaments. She turned professional in 2008 and joined the LET in 2009. She secured her first professional win at the 2009 South African Women's Open but not a LET-sanctioned event at the time, she had to go back to Q-School at the end of her rookie year to keep her LET card.
