''Legends of Wrestling'' is a series of professional wrestling video games developed and published by Acclaim. The first title in the series was released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, then in 2002 for the GameCube and Xbox. In 2006, Canadian game publisher Throwback Entertainment acquired the license and publishing rights to ''Legends of Wrestling''. ''Legends of Wrestling'' ''Legends of Wrestling'' was released on the PlayStation 2 on December 3, 2001, and on the Xbox and GameCube on May 27, 2002. It contains over 40 of the biggest names in pro wrestling. ''Legends of Wrestling II'' ''Legends of Wrestling II'' is the sequel to the professional wrestling video game ''Legends of Wrestling''. Metacritic is an American website that aggregates reviews of films, television shows, music albums, video games, and formerly books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Martin Austin Ruane (10 October 1946 – 29 November 1998) was a British professional wrestler of Irish parentage, best known by the ring name Giant Haystacks. He was one of the best-known wrestlers on the British wrestling scene in the 1970s and 1980s. He also worked in Canada and the United States under the name Loch Ness Monster or simply Loch Ness. Mick McManus (born William George Matthews; 11 January 1920 – 22 May 2013) was an English professional wrestler. The role he played was noted as a heel European wrestler and often went by the nicknames "The Man You Love to Hate", "Rugged South London Tough Guy" and "The Dulwich Destroyer". Early life McManus was born in Camberwell, south London. After leaving school he worked in a drawing office and then for a firm of printers. Shirley Crabtree Jr. (14 November 1930 – 2 December 1997), better known as Big Daddy, was an English professional wrestler. He worked for Joint Promotions and the original British Wrestling Federation. Initially appearing on television as a heel, he teamed with Giant Haystacks. Peter William Thornley (born 19 October 1941) is an English retired professional wrestler who was best known for the ring character Kendo Nagasaki. The character of Nagasaki was a Japanese samurai with a mysterious past and reputed powers of healing and hypnosis. He was one of the biggest draws of all time in British wrestling, especially in the mid-1970s and the turn of the 1980s – 1990s. Thornley wore a mask for most of his career, the one significant exception being several months following a December 1977 televised voluntary unmasking ceremony.
