Legacy of Sound was a Swedish band, which was active in the early 1990s. Members of the band included singer Meja Kullersten (before her successful solo career), Anders "Bag" Bagge, James Gicho, Lori Perry, Nevada Cato, and Peter Swartling. Legacy of Sound released two albums, ''Holy Groove'' (1993), with the popular single " Happy", and ''Tour de Force'' (1994). Meja
Meja Anna Pernilla Kullersten (formerly Beckman; born Anna Pernilla Torndahl, 12 February 1969) is a Swedish composer, artist and singer. Among her best known songs are "Happy" (with Legacy of Sound), " Private Emotion", a duet with Ricky Martin from his multi-Platinum album ''Ricky Martin'' (1999), and " All 'Bout the Money", which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1998. Biography Meja was born Anna Pernilla Torndahl in Nynäshamn, Stockholm County. She had her stage debut at "Ystads City theatre" at the age of 7. She was brought up in a musical family, her grandfather, Per Lundkvist, was a composer of both classical and contemporary music and her mother, a recording artist as a child before choosing a path as a painter. Anders "Bag" Bagge
Sven Anders Bagge (; born 16 January 1968) is a Swedish composer, lyricist, musician and record producer. Bagge is one half of the songwriter-producer duo Bagge & Peer, together with Peer Åström. He is also known for his frequent appearances as a judge on the TV series Idol on the Swedish TV4 channel, and for being a co-founder of the Stockholm-based music production company Murlyn Music Group. Early life Bagge grew up in a family of musicians. His father, Sven-Olof Bagge, also worked as a producer and songwriter during the 20th century. Peter Swartling
Peter Swartling (born 18 November 1964) was one of the Swedish judges on the TV talent show '' Idol'' on TV4. He made it clear that he wouldn't participate in the fourth season of '' Idol'' due to him being forced to commute between Sweden and United States, where he currently lives. However, despite this, he remains to be a judge on the show. "Happy" is a song by Swedish band Legacy of Sound featuring Swedish singer-songwriter Meja, released in 1993 by Ariola, BMG and RCA as the first single from their debut album, ''Holy Groove'' (1993). The song was written by Meja with Anders Bagge and released in 20 countries. In their native Sweden, it reached number 18 on the Swedish Singles Chart, spending five weeks on the chart. It became a surprise hit in the US, peaking at seven and 20 on the ''Billboard'' Maxi-Singles Sales and Hot Dance Club Play charts.
