Left Democratic Front
The Left Democratic Front (LDF) is an alliance of left-wing political parties in the state of Kerala, India. It is the current ruling political alliance of Kerala, since 2016. It is one of the two major political alliances in Kerala, the other being Indian National Congress-led United Democratic Front, each of which has been in power alternately for the last four decades. LDF has won the elections to the State Legislature of Kerala in the years 1980, 1987, 1996, 2006, 2016 and had a historic re-election in 2021 where an incumbent government was re-elected for first time in 40 years. LDF has won 6 out of 10 elections since the formation of the alliance in 1980. The alliance consists of CPI(M), CPI, KC(M), NCP, JD(S), RJD and various smaller parties. Republican Left Democratic Front
The Republican Left Democratic Front (RiDaLoS) was a coalition of political parties in the Indian state of Maharashtra formed before the 2009 Maharashtra state assembly elections, in Maharashtra. The alliance was forged between 14 political parties and many other NGOs and non political groups as well as students organisations in Maharashtra Republican Left Democratic Front Popularly known as RIDALOS as an alternative to the existing coalitions in the state. Left of Catalonia–Electoral Democratic Front ( ca, Esquerra de Catalunya–Front Electoral Democràtic, EC–FED), often shortened as just Left of Catalonia ( ca, Esquerra de Catalunya), was a left-wing political platform in Catalonia, formed by Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC), the Party of Labour of Catalonia (PTC) and Catalan State (EC) to contest the 1977 Spanish general election.
